Today, Magnolia Park hosted its very first Toddler Time session in partnership with BOSH. 💙

It was still wonderful to get the initiative underway and begin building connections between generations.

We're excited to share that Toddler Time will now be taking place twice a week, and we look forward to welcoming more local families along as word spreads.

Magnolia Park is currently undergoing refurbishment to enhance its communal spaces and bedrooms, creating an even more comfortable and homely place for residents to enjoy.

The home also benefits from large gardens, perfect for gardening, relaxing outside with a drink, or spending time with friends.

With regular events, entertainers and visitors from the local community, as well as an excellent partnership with BOSH bringing residents and local children together, Magnolia Park is a home where support, independence and connection come together.

As part of Care Home Open Week, we're delighted to introduce Natalie Kilby, Home Manager at Magnolia Park. 💙

Natalie has worked in the care sector since the age of 18 and brings a wealth of experience in supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed complex services, including overseeing dual-site homes and acting as the Responsible Individual for multiple residential services.

Natalie has extensive experience in stabilising and improving services, working closely with Local Authorities and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to achieve positive outcomes and maintain high standards of care. Her hands-on leadership style, industry knowledge, and commitment to person-centred support have helped teams navigate change while delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Since joining Magnolia Park, Natalie has been focused on creating a welcoming environment where residents feel valued, supported, and empowered to live fulfilling lives.

This week, from Monday 15th to Sunday 21st June, our doors are open every day from 10am – 2pm and we would be delighted to welcome you into our homes.

Visitors are invited to drop in, meet our managers and team members, chat with residents, and see what daily life is like in our homes. You’ll also have the chance to experience some of the activities taking place throughout the week and get a real feel for the warm, welcoming communities we are so proud of.

Whether you’re looking for care, supporting a loved one, interested in a career in care, or simply want to get to know your local care home, please do pop in and say hello.

Care Home Open Week is happening next week, and we can’t wait to welcome you! 💜

From Monday 15th to Sunday 21st June, our doors will be open from 10am – 2pm each day, giving visitors the chance to step inside, meet our managers and team members, and see daily life in our home.

Whether you’re looking for care, supporting a loved one, interested in working in care, or simply want to get to know your local care home, we would be delighted to see you.

You’ll be able to chat with our team, meet residents, and experience some of the activities that make life in our home so special.

At Magnolia Park yesterday, residents and staff came together for a lovely afternoon tea prepared by our new Head Chef, Brad. ☕🍰

Brad treated everyone to a delicious lemon drizzle cake, fresh finger sandwiches, and scones served with strawberry jam and cream.

The afternoon was filled with conversation as residents shared stories about their families and discussed the upcoming football championship. With lots of activities and match screenings on the horizon, residents are excited to get into the spirit of the games! ⚽🏆💙
