Mental Health Awareness Week – Staff Taking Action

This week, to promote mental health awareness week amongst our workforce here at The Grange Practice, we have taken several actions.

One of our Patient Advisors, a former Chef, baked cakes and brought them in. He spent a mindful 3 hours making them. They were absolutely delicious and were well received by all staff.

Pin badges and printed/emailed self-help techniques were distributed to all staff and information has been put up around the waiting room for patients.

Some staff took action by going on a wellbeing walk, being out in nature, getting fresh air and getting exercise, all ways to support their mental health.
