Looking for something to in the evenings? Well next Tuesday 28th July at 6.30pm- 8.00pm. I will be offering a free Hatha Yoga Taster session organised through UKC Yoga Society. You will need to use the sign up form beforehand to get you registered, which is quick and easy and on top of this free session by filling out the form you will also be entered into a prize draw to win a free class card.

If you continue to give when you are half full, eventually you will end up empty. It takes time to Learn this and sometimes you may ignore this and the same pattern repeats itself. Feeling burnt out, underappreciated, invaluable not able to give support and time to others who made need you. Listen to your body, it will tell you when it's had enough, when it needs to recharge. Don't ignore, start to put your health first, you are amazing and deserve to look and feel that way.

Let's lift each other up and not put each other down. Often we say things before we think. We can put others down in what we say and how we say them. Sometimes this becomes part of one's behaviour, other times it can be a snap judgement or reaction. Imagine a works where instead of putting others down we helped lift them up, with words of kindness, support and love. The little things we do can go a long way and are easy to do. Try it!

When you look closely up at the sky what do you see? Is it just the sky, the stars, or do you see images of what you desire to become or do? When you take that moment of stillness, you should start to relax and notice your breath slowing down. With each breath your heart starts to flow at a more comfortable rhythm. Not only this but you might also have thoughts enter your mind. Let the negative ones pass with each out breath and let each in breath bring positivity and change. You are an amazing person, capable of so much more. So let your mind create what your heart desires.

More decluttering in the house today its surprising what we hold onto. Our belongings hold our energies, starting off with very positive then overtime when we use them less or they sit there gathering dust, they can often hold some negative energies. So out with the old and in with the new and not necessarily new items to gather more dust, it can be just having more space to feel that freedom to move.

Well as we can't be good all the time I decided to make something a little naughty. In between the clearing I managed to take time out to make a lemon berry cheesecake with a twist. This was a non baked version and made with Scottish shortbread instead of digestive biscuits. And layered with mixed berries which can easily be picked up from frozen section in supermarket. I used condensed milk, two lemons, cream cheese and unsalted butter. It went down a treat. Why not have a go yourself at making one.

Being a mum, comes with it challenges. It can sometimes feel like a roller-coaster with its highs and lows. Days sometimes feel like they blend into the next when the only time I have spare is given unconditionally to my children. Early mornings, late nights and sometimes wake ups in between if they are not well. (luckily not many of those ones now). This morning was no exception as my sons alarm never went off, or possibly he forgot to set, but whatever it was it meant an earlier start for me. Rushing around making sure he has everything in tow. Makeup free, hair unbrushed, body unshowered and odd socks, I must have looked a picture, just to drop him off in time to meet his friends on the way to school. My daughter, is not normally one for a lay in, but with holidays still continuing for her, why not. She stayed fast asleep and woke shortly before my next stint of falling asleep to rewake and face the day, this time in a little more refreshed, showered and glamorous, well maybe not the later state of dress to find a little gift. Thank you Deanna for the picture, it was so thoughtful, that I just had to share, loving you beyond words. (unless you also wake me early in the morning then this might be reworded slightly). Humour aside. Deanna you are a beautiful child inside and out and I'm proud to be your mum.

My desk is ready for creativity. This was upcycled from a TV unit that was no longer being used and then removing the shelves. I think it works quite well. It's nice to reuse furniture and belongings that have been tired and given a new lease of live.
As a New Year quickly approaches we too can have a new start to our lives, by brushing off the old and making way for the new. Transforming ourselves from what we were to what we should be.
