Our Book of Remembrance is situated in a quiet area of the Hospice where those who have remembered loved ones are welcome to come and reflect.

The book has hundreds of loved ones remembered in this special and poignant way. If you would like to remember your loved one this way, please complete our online form

Can you help? 🌱🌻

Our Hospice terrace is a beautiful outdoor space where patients and their loved ones can enjoy some fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and quiet moments together.

We are currently renovating and refreshing this special area to make it even more welcoming and enjoyable for everyone who uses it. As part of the project, we are kindly seeking donations of compost to help us replant and nurture the flowers and plants that will bring colour and life back to the terrace.

We are looking for approximately 8 bags of compost, and any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated.

If you are able to help, please get in touch or drop your donation off at the Hospice.

Thank you for helping us create a beautiful and calming outdoor space for our patients and their families. 💚

Did you know we also offer support for families, carers, and friends affected by life-limiting illness? This includes bereavement counselling and complementary therapy services.

Our Bereavement Counselling service provides a safe, non-judgemental space to explore a wide range of challenges, such as coping with change, managing illness, and fears about the future. This service is available to both adults and children living in Rossendale.

Our Complementary Therapies service is available to patients, family members, and carers who are living with the effects of a life-limiting illness.

Referrals can be made online or over the phone. Call 01706 393870.

Befriender Group – Talk and Connect 🗣️💙

Introducing our brand new “Talk and Connect” group. This support group welcomes current befriending volunteers and those interested in joining us to come together, connect, share experiences, and receive support in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Our befriending service supports those in Rossendale who may be lonely and facing social isolation.

This group will take place on the third Monday of every month. If you would like to attend, please contact our team to confirm our attendance.

🏃‍♀️👏 The Mayor of Rossendale, Councillor Liz McInnes, has successfully completed the Great Manchester Run 10K!

Liz took on this fantastic challenge in support of Rossendale Hospice, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her dedication and generosity.

Reflecting on the day, Liz said:

"I was delighted to bump into the Mayor of Hyndburn, Councillor Noordad Aziz, who was running for the NSPCC. So not just one, but two Running Mayors!"

Thanks to Liz’s incredible efforts and the generosity of everyone who supported her, an amazing £1,237.50 has been raised for Rossendale Hospice 💙🥳
