☀️🍦 Keeping cool and having fun! 🍓🧩

We’ve had a lovely day making the most of the sunshine! We enjoyed some fun games in the lounges, then tried to keep cool with some delicious ice cream and fresh fruit. 🍦🍓

Afterwards, we spent some time putting our puzzle skills to the test before finishing off with a few games of bingo. 🧩🎲

Lots of smiles, laughter and a great time had by all! 💕

After how wonderfully our last raffle went, we’ve decided to do another one!🎉

This time, we’re going Back to School!✏️🖍️📓

We thought it would be lovely to bring back some childhood memories and have a little fun with a school-themed raffle. 🥰 Whether it reminds you of school days, favourite teachers, school dinners or simply brings back some happy memories, we hope you’ll enjoy getting involved!

There will be some lovely prizes up for grabs, so keep your eyes peeled for more details! 👀🎁

✨ A lovely day of pampering, visits and keeping busy!✨

Today we enjoyed a visit from our wonderful hairdresser, followed by a little spa treatment — the perfect chance to relax, be pampered and feel fabulous! 💇‍♀️💆‍♀️💅

We also had a lovely visit from Holy Trinity, which was enjoyed by everyone. It was wonderful to spend some time together and share some smiles. ❤️

Meanwhile, Steve was kept busy doing some important work of his own… giving our fish tank a good clean! 🐠🧽 He did a fantastic job, and the fish are now enjoying their lovely clean home. 🐟💙

It’s been a lovely day filled with pampering, friendship, visits and plenty of smiles! 😊

🌿🎬A lovely day at the home!🎬🌿

We’ve had a wonderful day full of fresh air, lovely conversations and some very exciting visitors!

Our residents enjoyed a lovely walk around the garden, taking in the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t help but stop and enjoy the gorgeous fresh smell of the mint growing in the garden — it was absolutely delightful! 🌱💚

We were also very lucky to welcome a film crew to the home today! 🎥✨ Some of our residents had the opportunity to speak with the crew, answer their questions and share some of their stories and experiences. They did a fantastic job and really enjoyed being involved.

It was a lovely opportunity for our residents to have their voices heard, share a few laughs and enjoy something a little different from the usual day.

What a lovely day of memories, fresh air and new experiences!❤️🌿🎬

🌟 A lovely day of activities at the home!🌟

We’ve had a busy and enjoyable day with lots going on! 💪😊

This morning, we enjoyed some fitness exercises in the lounge, getting everyone moving, stretching and having fun together. 🏃‍♀️🎶

We’ve also been busy getting our raffle prizes ready — there are some lovely goodies to look forward to! 🎟️🎁

And, of course, there was time for some relaxing knitting. 🧶❤️ Maureen has been working hard on a beautiful knitted bag and has now finished it. Even more special, she has kindly donated her lovely bag to our raffle! 👜✨

A big thank you to Maureen for her wonderful donation, and well done to everyone who joined in with today’s activities. ❤️

On 27th September, Emily and Claire will be taking part in the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk to raise awareness and support people living with dementia, along with their families and loved ones. 🥰

We’re so proud of them for getting involved in such a meaningful cause. Every step they take will help make a difference, and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way! 🚶‍♀️💜

Yesterday was an exciting one as we held the final of our Rosedale game! 🏆 It was Sian vs Lucie, and after a fantastic match, it was Team Sian who came out on top!🎊👏 Congratulations to Sian and her team — well played everyone! 💙

In the afternoon, we got busy in the kitchen with some lovely baking! 🧁👩‍🍳 There were plenty of smiles, lots of fun, and of course, some delicious treats to enjoy afterwards. 😋

✨ A Wonderful Day of Pampering and Music! 🎶💇‍♀️💅

Our residents enjoyed a lovely morning filled with hairdressing and pampering, leaving everyone feeling refreshed, relaxed, and looking fabulous! 💖

In the afternoon, we were delighted to welcome the fantastic Canvey Ukers, who treated us to a wonderful performance full of music, smiles, and plenty of sing-alongs. 🎵🎤 Their cheerful tunes had everyone tapping their feet and enjoying the moment together.

A huge thank you to our hairdresser, and the Canvey Ukers for helping make today so special for our residents. 💐
It’s days like these that create beautiful memories and bring so much joy to our home. ❤️
