One of the most common is brushing too hard or using too much pressure, which can gradually affect the gums and expose more sensitive areas of the tooth 🤍

Gum recession can also play a part, as can a diet high in fizzy or sugary drinks. Over time, these can contribute to erosion, wearing away the outer surface of the tooth and exposing the sensitive layers underneath 👀
