A couple of weeks ago, we mentioned that some changes were coming to the pharmacy - and we’ve been fairly quiet about them since! 👀

Behind the scenes, quite a lot has been happening…

We’ve been making better use of the space in the pharmacy and expanding our consultation facilities, including the creation of two private consultation rooms and more capacity to provide clinical services while keeping the day-to-day prescription service running efficiently.

There are still a few finishing touches to go, but we’re practically there… and just in time!

NHS Flu & COVID vaccinations have officially started, and we’re offering both at our pharmacy for eligible patients - with walk-ins and appointments available!

One of the biggest advantages of having two consultation rooms is that we also have both a male and female vaccinator available, giving patients a little more choice and making the experience more comfortable for anyone who may have a preference.

And just look at how many seats there are… don’t say we don’t look after your comfort! 😆

As we always say… if you’re after a pharmacy that will look after you and offer a smooth, efficient experience, look no further 😊.

The wait is nearly over…!

FREE NHS Flu & COVID vaccinations start from 1st October for eligible patients 💉

No drama, no endless waiting around - just a friendly team, a quick service and hopefully a fairly painless jab 👀😂

We’ll be offering both walk-ins and appointments at Day Lewis Pharmacy Lower Earley.

To book an appointment, simple do one of the following:
• Go to the NHS website, select our pharmacy (RG6 3HD)
• Go to the Day Lewis website
• Phone the pharmacy directly

More exciting news from Day Lewis Pharmacy Lower Earley!

We will be carrying out some planned work at the pharmacy towards the end of this week as we continue to improve the space and the service we provide to our community.

As part of the works, we will be introducing a second consultation room, helping us provide faster access to services, improve patient privacy and reduce waiting times to see the pharmacist.

We do not anticipate the works having any significant impact on our usual service or prescription turnaround times.

Thank you, as always, for your patience and support while we continue investing in the pharmacy.

We are officially ready to start vaccinating at Day Lewis Pharmacy Lower Earley 🙌

Our flu vaccination for under 65s is a cell-based, egg-free vaccine!

💉 Private flu vaccination - £19.99

🤰 Pregnant?
Eligible pregnant patients can also receive their NHS flu vaccination free of charge with us!

We know getting vaccinated needs to fit around real life, so we are keeping things simple:

What a day 💙☕🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to see us for our first Saturday opening and coffee morning at Day Lewis Pharmacy Lower Earley.

We honestly did not know quite what to expect, but so many of you came in to say hello, have a chat, grab a drink and help us make very short work of the cakes and biscuits 😂

It was lovely seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones and having the chance to spend a little more time with the community outside of the usual pharmacy rush.

Days like this are exactly why we wanted to make the pharmacy feel like more than somewhere you simply collect a prescription - we want it to feel like a genuine part of the local community.

Thank you as well for all the kind words, support and encouragement. It really does mean a lot to our little team!

And judging by the fact we finished the day with about five cookies left, we’ll take that as a success. 😂

We definitely will be doing more things like this.
