Our flu vaccination clinics are now underway!

You may be eligible for a free NHS flu vaccine if you:
• Are 65 or over
• Are pregnant
• Have certain long term health conditions
• Live in a care home
• Are a carer
• Live with someone who has a weakened immune system
• Have a learning disability

If you’re eligible, contact reception to book your appointment.

☀️ HEAT WARNING FOR PATIENTS ☀️

With temperatures expected to be high, please take extra care to keep yourself and others safe.

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🌡️ Keep your home as cool as possible by closing blinds or curtains during the hottest part of the day.
🧴 Avoid prolonged time in direct sunlight and use sunscreen if you are outside.
👒 Wear loose, lightweight clothing and a hat when outdoors.
🏃‍♀️ Avoid strenuous exercise during the hottest parts of the day.
👶 Please take extra care of babies, young children, older people and anyone with long-term health conditions.

If you feel unwell due to the heat, move somewhere cool, drink fluids and seek medical advice if your symptoms are concerning.
