I’m off on my holiday now for three weeks of r&r in my happy place. I will be catching up with friends, spending quality time with my family, reading, sleeping, hiking, eating and having fun. It’s so important to take time out to recharge and do the things that restore our energy and enthusiasm. I’m back in clinic on the 22nd August. Enjoy your summer holidays too.

My patients often ask me how acupuncture works and what it works for. Attached is an excellent article with a great diagram showing the mechanisms of acupuncture from a physiological point of view. Of course, a lot of patients just know it works for them but if you are a bit more science minded this is an excellent read.
