Yesterday, we received a very touching message and a generous gift from the family of one of our former clients.
“I just wanted to let you know that I dropped off a case of wine at the Theale office.
The wine is a thank you from our family on the first anniversary of losing our loved one last year.
We still remember the amazing people who came to our house and the amazing things you did to keep her clean, comfortable and able to die at home, where we could be with her all the time.
I don’t know how your people manage to be so brilliant and personable while doing what they do, but please reinforce to them that, one year on, we are as fully conscious of the enormous gratitude we owe them as we were at the time.
There were so many heroes involved in her care. To be honest, I expect all of your staff are lovely, and I just hope that dropping off a gift to be shared around enables them all to know how vital their work is and that it is not taken for granted.”
