⚠️ Important Health Update from supreme care⚠️
We would like to make our staff, clients, families, and local community aware that cases of measles are currently rising across Worcestershire.
Measles is highly contagious and can cause serious health complications, particularly for older adults, young children, and those with weakened immune systems.
Symptoms to look out for include:
🔹 High temperature
🔹 Runny or blocked nose
🔹 Sneezing
🔹 Cough
🔹 Red, sore, watery eyes
🔹 A rash (usually appearing after the cold-like symptoms)
If you or a member of your household develops symptoms, please contact your GP surgery or NHS 111 before attending any healthcare setting and inform the supreme care office as soon as possible if you are receiving or providing care services.
💉 The MMR or MMRV vaccine remains the best protection against measles. If you are unsure of your vaccination status, please speak to your GP surgery.
At supreme care the health and wellbeing of our clients and care team remains our highest priority. Please help us protect those most vulnerable by staying informed and sharing this information with others.
❤️ Thank you for helping us keep our community safe.
