We're pleased to share the successful placement of Steffen Heeger as Chief Medical Officer at Actinuim Pharmaceuticals.

As the company continued to advance its targeted radiotherapy pipeline and clinical programmes, strengthening the executive leadership team became a key priority.

The search required a highly specialised profile with deep expertise across oncology, radioligand and clinical development, alongside the leadership experience needed to support the next phase of growth.

By working closely with the leadership team throughout the process, we were able to deliver a successful outcome and secure a candidate aligned with both the role and the wider strategic direction of the business.

Welcome to the Apsida Life Science team!

Maddie joins our Clinical Operations team as an Associate Consultant, where she’ll be supporting biotech and biopharma organisations in building out their Clinical Operations functions.

She’ll be working across the UK, Europe and the US, focusing on freelance placements and helping companies secure the specialist talent they need as they progress from late pre-clinical development through to Phase III studies.

Maddie will be partnering closely with both clients and candidates, providing insight into the market and supporting businesses as they build fit-for-purpose Clinical teams.

We’re excited to have her on board and looking forward to the impact she’ll make across the Clinical Operations space.

It’s time for another Meet the Team, and this time we’re shining the spotlight on .

Fin has now spent the last four and a half years in Life Science recruitment, specialising across Clinical Development, Clinical Operations and Medical hires.

When asked what keeps him motivated, Fin said:

“It’s the opportunity to work closely with some of the smartest people in the industry, while continuing to learn about a space that impacts everyday lives.”

Since joining Apsida, Fin has achieved two promotions, progressing from Associate Consultant to Senior Consultant, while also qualifying for multiple incentives, including our Presidents Club trip.

Outside of work, Fin is also a DJ and recently travelled to Malta to perform a set. This week, he’ll be heading to Los Angeles for SNMMI’s Annual Conference.

“LA has always been on my bucket list, so I’m really excited for this.”
