Now for the reveal:
Card 1: Garlic - Purification, Protection, Vulnerability - Garlic not only flavours food but is also a powerful antiseptic and antibiotic. This card says you may have to purify and strengthen an aspect of your life without introducing sterility. Usually when we see ourselves changing we imagine removing things from our life, which may well be the correct course of action, but it is worth first considering if there is something that you can add to your life that will naturally replace that which is bothering you. This card can also indicate the need to introduce something new into your life, perhaps something you considered too exotic or unconventional before, but is now attracting you in some way. Garlic is seen as protective, so you may be feeling vulnerable or in need of protection, it's time to reach out to friends, or a counsellor or organisation that can help at this time. Pay attention to your psychic protection too, be more aware of your boundaries and be more discriminating.
Card 2: Poppy - Redemption, Remembrance, Excess - Poppy combines vigour with tenderness. Sometimes they seem to disappear from view, then suddenly reappear, astonishing us with their beauty. This card can indicate the reappearance of something, or someone, you thought lost to you forever. It can also be a sign that a quality or feeling you once had is also due to make an appearance. Sometimes things have to be forgotten, or hidden, for a while, in order for them to surprise us. And in doing so redemption occurs. Sometimes a situation needs to be forgotten, or let go of, in order for it to grow as it needs to. Some situations require vigilance, action and confrontation, others simply need ignoring or forgetting - discernment is required at this time. Remember that any quality in excess can have a negative impact. This is not the time to enter into denial, but to find that source of comfort, wellbeing and protection within ourselves.
Card 3: Celtic Bean - Fertility, Nourishment, The Ancestors - Also known as the broad bean, it is associated with fertility and reincarnation. Ancients saw the plane as direct communication with the dead, spirits returning via the hollow stem. This card could indicate that something you thought dead and buried will come back into your life in a new form. A relationship revived, a project buried bearing fruit in an unexpected way. Or a sensual earthiness is asking to be expressed in an artistic way. You may be strongly influenced by the Ancestors at this time, inspiring you to behave in a certain way or acting out a pattern created by previous generations. Do you wish to continue in this way, or are you being asked to break that patterning? Try throwing some beans over your shoulder, or cast them on the ground with intention as a ritual offering. Or are you seeking purity and perfection? Remember nothing in nature is perfect, we need our flaws and weaknesses, our mistakes, to make us truly human, true whole.
I hope these resonate, be gentle with yourselves this week, I will see you next week.πΊππ©Ά
