🤔 Hands up who has a full diary?!

Most of us... right? Me too...

Does that stress you out?

All that pressure that we put on ourselves to tick everything off the list, attend all the meetings, reply to all messages, emails, etc.

And that's all day, every day 🤦‍♀️

Stress is not just your full diary, but everything that comes with it.

The pressure to be enough and/or excel in all areas - good enough mum/dad, friend, businesswoman/men, employee, satisfy everyone, meet everyone's expectations, make sure we don't forget anything!

That's A LOT!

When you feel stressed and overwhelmed - you're not failing, it's your body and mind trying to tell you that you need a break.

You need a moment to rest and reset.

Listen to them.

Stop ignoring them.

Your body and mind are your friends, not your enemies.

They are sending you those friendly reminders, communicating with you.

A moment of stillness can change the whole direction of your day.

The world quietens, body slows down, nervous system rests.

These quiet pauses remind you that you don’t have to keep pushing for validation, that you are complete, enough, worthy just the way you are.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop, soften, and let ourselves simply be.

Burnout isn’t always about work.

Sometimes it’s the grief we don’t name - the emotional load we carry quietly, the strength we try to hold together for everyone else, because that's what's expected of us.

Stress can be the body’s alarm, grief the quiet ache underneath, and burnout the point where it all becomes too much to carry alone.

If you’re feeling stretched thin on every level, irritable, exausted, stuck - no surprise.

You've been carrying so much for so long!

Be gentle with yourself today.

Your heart deserves rest just as much as your mind and body.

... how do you say goodbye to someone who's body is still here but he's mind is pretty much gone?

I've experienced deep grief before, but this is something different. I've never been grieving someone who's still sitting next to me.

How do you cope with this?

How do you approach this?

Honestly, any words of wisdom will be much appreciated 🙏❤️

On another hand, I'm sitting here and thinking about his life, how he lived it, and the regrets he had (at least the ones I know about).

And... I know I want to live a different life.

I want to be more present, more loving and caring, more spontaneous, more living in a moment, more giving (if I can be any more giving 😉).

The relationship with my Dad has been an interesting one, but I know he's done his best.
And I'm super grateful because it made me the person I am today 🙏

Seriously how do you say goodbye to someone you love with Dementia and Alzheimer's, someone who's just fading away day by day?

It's heartbreaking!

✨️What do you do when life gets busier??

When life speeds up, we often do the opposite of what we, our mind and body, need - and we push harder!

Have you done this before? Pushed through? Pushed harder - despite feeling overwhelmed and exhausted?

How did it turn out for you?

✨️Calm is never found in doing more.

It's found when we pause, breathe, and give ourselves space to be.

Slowing down isn't a luxury.

It's how we reconnect with who we are, instead of running on autopilot.

If you've been moving through your days too fast this January, this is your reminder to soften your pace today.

Give yourself the space to breathe, the moment to simply be.
