🌿✨ MONDAYS LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT HERE… ✨🌿

While Monday might mean “back to routine” for some, here at our home, we like to start the week with a little more calm, connection and mindful movement. 💚

The residents headed outside into the garden for our Monday Tai Chi session - taking a moment to breathe, stretch, move gently and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. 🍃☀️

We love our Mondays - because sometimes the best way to begin a new week is to slow down rather than speed up.

🦋 A Beautiful Moment & Eight Little Wings Taking Flight 🌿

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of joining our wonderful local creche on a very special little project — one that has brought together nature, learning, care and community. 💚

The children lovingly watched their butterflies grow, caring for them and observing their incredible transformation from tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. 🐛➡️🦋

Once they were ready to take their first flight, we invited the children to visit our garden and release them into their new surroundings.

Eight beautiful butterflies took to the skies, fluttering through the garden before settling onto our lavender and dancing amongst the buddleia.

Here’s to eight more butterflies in our garden, eight more little journeys beginning, and many more moments of magic in nature. 🦋🌿✨

🤠🌵 Yeehaw! What a rootin' tootin' time we had at our annual Garden Party! This year's Country & Western theme had everyone saddled up for a day full of laughter, great company, and plenty of boot-stompin' fun! 🐴⭐

From the fantastic food from our Kitchen Team, to the live music from the wonderful Contrast Harmony . The atmosphere was nothing short of wild west magic.

A huge thank you to our Regional Team, who joined us as judges and didn't just watch the fun - they jumped right in! At our home, it's impossible not to get swept up in the excitement and magic that makes us who we are! 🏆🌻

A special thank you to everyone who came along to support our amazing Garden Club members. They were delighted to show everyone around our beautiful outdoor spaces, share their hard work, and chat with the judges. Your support meant the world, and together you helped make it another unforgettable day.

Today is our annual Hallmark in Bloom Garden Celebration, and as we come together to celebrate our outdoor spaces they've helped create, we wanted to take a moment to share the faces behind it all. 🌿💚

Our Garden Thyme Club is so much more than gardening – it's about creating a space that belongs to our residents.

Every decision about our outdoor spaces comes from our Garden Club members, from choosing themes for celebrations to shaping the gardens they enjoy every day. Together, they've filled bird feeders, watered flowers, planted seeds, and watched their hard work bloom throughout the seasons.

Our weekly garden discussions give everyone the opportunity to share ideas, make plans, and ensure our outdoor spaces remain full of meaning, memories, and personal touches. By giving residents ownership of their environment, we're creating purposeful spaces where they can relax, connect, reminisce, and take pride in all they've achieved.

Our gardens are a reflection of the people who enjoy them most - created with their ideas and nurtured by their hands.

Today, as we celebrate another successful Hallmark in Bloom Garden Celebration, we're incredibly proud of everything our Lifestyle team and Garden Club has achieved and grateful for the passion, dedication, and joy they bring to our home every single week. 🌱🌸

We've had a fantastic visit from some amazing birds of prey this week! 🦅 It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying a new experience, learning about these magnificent creatures, and even meeting a very special slithery guest! 🐍

Some of our brave residents even held the visiting snake - smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories all around. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day! ❤️

Our garden is slowly coming together, and we're so excited to see our new pergola taking shape. 🌿✨

It's already such a beautiful addition to the space, creating a lovely focal point and somewhere to relax and enjoy the garden. We can't wait to see it surrounded by climbing plants, with greenery growing up and over the top to create a peaceful, shaded retreat.

There's still plenty to do, but it's wonderful watching our vision come to life, one step at a time. We can't wait to share the finished result with you! 💚🌸

☀️🍓 A Beautiful Sunny Day Filled with Creativity and Refreshment 🍍🌸

We were delighted to welcome our leadership team for a visit this week, and what better way to celebrate the sunshine than with a stunning display created by our talented Head Chef!

Using hand-cut fresh fruits and beautiful floral touches, our chef crafted an eye-catching fruit arrangement that was almost too beautiful to eat. The colourful platter was enjoyed alongside refreshing homemade fruit juices, providing the perfect treat on such a sunny day.

A huge thank you to our Head Chef for creating such a vibrant display that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. 🌺🍉🍇

What a wonderful way to spend a sunny day! ☀️🌿

Today, we enjoyed a relaxing Tai Chi session with G Fitness in our beautiful gardens, surrounded by nature and the gentle sounds of our peaceful water fountain. The warm sunshine, fresh air, and calming movements created the perfect setting for mindfulness, balance, and wellbeing.

It was lovely to see everyone embracing the tranquillity of the garden, taking time to stretch, breathe, and enjoy the moment together. Days like these remind us of the benefits of connecting with nature while keeping active.

What a lovely morning in our Garden Craft Activity! 🌿☀️

We enjoyed the beautiful sunshine while looking out over the garden and the fragrant lavender hedge in full bloom. Using freshly picked lavender from the garden, everyone created their own lavender bags, filling the air with a wonderful calming scent.

We also got creative with patterned garden-themed papers, designing and making unique bookmarks to gift to our loved ones - or enjoy ourselves!

A perfect morning of crafting, creativity, and connecting with nature in such a peaceful setting. 💜🌸📚

We had the most wonderful visit from our friends at the local creche this week! 💛

Our home was filled with laughter, energy, and plenty of smiles as we kicked off with a lively game of balloon football (there were some very competitive “players” on both sides! 🎈⚽).

We enjoyed games together, shared lots of giggles, and then came the music… singing songs in both Welsh and English 🎶🗣️ with instruments adding to the rhythm and joy all around us.

It was such a special way to celebrate Care Home Open Week, and we were absolutely delighted to welcome the children in to share what we’re truly about - community, connection, and togetherness.

Moments like these remind us that joy has no age limit, and friendship is something to be celebrated at every stage of life 💛

Thank you to our wonderful visitors Home from Home Children's Day Nursery for filling our home with so much happiness - we can’t wait to do it all again!
