My name is Blythe Roberts and I started boat angling just over 3 years ago when I purchased my first boat for pleasure fishing. I knew that this was something that I had a keen interest for so I gained all the qualifications required to skipper a boat commercially and worked on other boats at Rhyl as a Skipper when required. I hold commercially endorsed skippers licence and all up to date, sea sur

vival, PPR and first aid certificates.(STCW approved). I have now purchased my first boat, “Kraken” a Lochin 33 and I am now looking forward to being a Skipper taking out Fishing Trips.

Over the last few weeks, Kraken has had some great trips out with a Boat Record Tope Weighing in at 50lbs by Dylan, Well Done 👏🎣⛴️. Also a first trip out for Marcus and Amy where they caught their first ever fish on Boat, a Mackerel and lots of Dogfish! Well Done 👏

Overall, Some great days out with plenty of species of fish caught which included Tope, Bass, Thornback Rays, Bull-Huss, Grey Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Sea Scorpion, Pollack, Pouting, Mackerel, Whiting, Launce, Scad, Dogfish and Weaver.

Thursday 16th July - 5 Hour at 10:15am

Friday 17th July - 5 Hour at 11am
(2 spaces remaining)

Tuesday 21st July - 5 Hour Trip at 2pm
Whole Boat Available or 8 Individual Spaces

Following the unsettled weather last week, Kraken was able to get out yesterday on an 8 Hour Trip. There were some decent fish caught which included 2 double figure Bull Huss, Mackerel, Whiting, Dog Fish, Scad. But the catch of the day and a 1st onboard Kraken goes to a lovely 1lb Sole caught by Mick. Well Done pal 👍⛴️🎣
