We have listened closely to your feedback regarding our telephone lines. To help improve communication, Kinmel Bay Medical Centre has upgraded to a brand-new phone system, which went live today.

The surgery will be closed on Wednesday 8th July from 1:00pm to 5:00pm for mandatory staff training.

During this time, if you need to speak to a doctor urgently, please contact 0300 0844 000.

The surgery will reopen as normal after 5:00pm.

URGENT SERVICE UPDATE – CLINICAL SYSTEM OUTAGE

We’re currently experiencing a major outage of our clinical computer system, which means we are unable to access patient medical records, prescriptions, or clinical notes at this time.

This appears to be a wider system issue affecting multiple surgeries, not just ours. We are awaiting further information and restoration from the system provider.

What this means for you right now:

We can still see patients, but our access to records is limited.

There may be delays while we work around the outage.

For urgent medical needs, please continue to contact us as normal.

Routine queries may need to wait until the system is back online.

We’ll update you as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unexpected disruption.

If so visit Diabetes Public Engagement Stand - 9am-1pm - Bay View Shopping Centre Colwyn Bay - 10th March - and speak to a Diabetic Specialist Team. Information will be available that could may be of help to you or may help you gain an understanding of the importance of a Diabetes Review at your GP practice.
