Is your Kinetic Chain Functioning and Serving you properly?

Our body is one big connection chain of muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones; interrelated groups of body segments, connecting joints and muscles working together to perform movement. Kinetic means motion, movement so we are ultimately talking about our “movement chain” and how dysfunctions higher up the chain can affect and impact lower down the chain and vice versa…. Similar to a bicycle chain - one dysfunctional link affects the function of the whole chain working properly.
We are connected from our toes to our nostril and back down again. Each part of the body is a link and dependent upon each other for movement and performance. So it is very normal for another part of the body to be affected by a dysfunctional part.
e.g. The most common knee pain, patellar femoral pain ( pain and dysfunction under the knee cap) often happens as a result of the foot rolling inward too much. Another cause of knee pain could be due to weak hips and pelvis, the knee being sandwiched between the ground and the hip. Weak hip muscles do not provide the “scaffolding” or strength to prevent the hip dropping and rotating inwards, resulting in the knee equally medially rotating….. lower chain issues develop as a result of the higher hip dysfunction impacting on the lower knee joint.

I assess and treat the body as a whole, not looking at one part in isolation. Each body is a series of jigsaw pieces that need putting together to form the full picture.

Another KORE training weekend completed, this time in Cranial Sacral work.
Absolutely loved it and am really excited to be able to add cranial balancing to my treatment toolbox 😀
I sure my clients are going to love it as much as I do🥰

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉 to everyone who attended our 2 day training in Staffordshire!

We teach students a quick and extremely effective way to evaluate all of the cranial bones and sutures for imbalances by utilising KORE Therapy’s unique muscle testing system.

Imbalances within the cranial system can have a huge impact upon the body and cause a wide range of conditions from headaches, migraines, back pain, anxiety and depression and can also prevent the body from coping and dealing with stress!

During the training, extremely gentle but very effective energetic release techniques are taught to correct any imbalances and release stress within the system.

Cranial work like this is something that ALL KORE Therapy Consultants utilise in their treatments but can also be effectively applied on its own or in combination with other holistic treatments.

Cupping is just one of the amazing techniques we use within a KORE treatment.

Cupping involves using warm suction glass jars on oiled skin. The vacuum formed by the glass jars draws up the non-circulating stagnant blood, toxins and sticky fluids from deeper parts of the body, bringing them up to the surface, restoring free healthy flow to the whole body including the affected area and creating space for oxygen, living cells, blood and nutrients for a quicker recovery.

I've been busy these last few months learning new techniques on the KORE Consultants course.
Absolutely love this therapy and can't wait till July when I will be fully qualified.
At the beginning of February I completed my fire cupping training and have started implementing this into my treatments, (if I think it would benefit the particular client). So thought I'd share this video with you demonstrated by Leek KORE Consultants.
