What’s the worst thing you can do for your posture? 🤔
It’s not one specific movement—it’s staying in the same position for too long.
Whether you’re sitting at a desk, scrolling on your phone, or driving, prolonged static positions can lead to muscles becoming tight, weak, and imbalanced. Over time, this can affect the way your body moves and may contribute to neck pain, back pain, headaches, and stiffness.
The good news? You don’t need “perfect posture.”
The best posture is your next posture. Regularly changing positions, standing up, stretching, and moving throughout the day are far more important than trying to hold yourself in one “ideal” position.
When you are sitting:
✔️ Keep your ears roughly over your shoulders.
✔️ Relax your shoulders rather than shrugging them.
✔️ Sit back into your chair with your feet supported.
✔️ Get up and move every 30–60 minutes if you can.
Small habits, repeated consistently, can make a big difference to how your body feels.
