CVSS - Sailing for people with disabilities CVSS - Sailing for people with disabilities is run entirely by volunteers. We are a registered charit to 14:30 p.m.

We are a registered charity organisation and our charity number is 1155165. Our aim is to make sailing accessible to people with disabilities of all ages and to make sailing FUN. We do this by making it inexpensive, by using special boats and equipment and by our approach:

"You want to sail - let's work out how you can do it safely!"

We are based at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome and have been sinc

Sailing slots are available on the hour from 10:30 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and 10:00 a.m to 14:00 pm on Saturdays from May until half term in October.

Waitrose Community Matters

Some of you might live in the Rickmansworth area and possibly shop in Rickmansworth Waitrose, even if only time to time. In the entrance are are token collections to support three local charities.

CVSS is one of the three local charities being supported by Waitrose between 1 July and 30 September. I would be grateful if you wouldn’t mind supporting us to raise funds for replacement sails and buoyancy aids, by putting any tokens that you collect in our container on leaving the shop.

The charity with the highest number of tokens receives £1,500, the second £1,000 and the third £500.

Any support would be appreciated.

CVSS 200 Club June Draw

Thank you everyone who is taking part in the CVSS 200 Club this year. You have helped us to raise a further £1,200.
Did you know that over the past seven years that the 200 Club has been running a total of £8,730 has been raised for CVSS to spend on safety equipment such as life jackets and towards the cost of sails? Thank you.

Thank you all 200 Club members for supporting CVSS this year.

Thank you again for all your support for the 200 Club this year. You helped raise £1,400, plus additional donations. This has all helped CVSS to continue its operations helping disabled children and adults enjoy the experience of sailing.
