The whole ceiling requires removal and safe disposal before repair.

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING SERVICE

Prescriptions can be ordered:
•Via the NHS App
•In writing to the surgery on either a repeat slip or paper noting your name, DOB, address and items required
• via email to the prescribing team at [email protected]

Please allow 48 hours from ordering for the surgery to process your request

You will still need to allow up to 7 days for the pharmacy to prepare your prescription ready for collection

🚨Important notice re Cwmfelinfach🚨
We have temporarily closed Cwmfelinfach clinic approved by the health board due to a dangerous ceiling collapse. Due to the presence of asbestos a full survey must be carried out and repairs completed to remove it and make it safe.
All appointments booked will now be held in Risca surgery until we are advised it is safe to reopen. Patients are being contacted.
We apologise for any inconvenience and will keep you updated.

The surgery is currently experiencing another power cut. National grid are aware and working to fix the area wide fault. All non emergency clinics are cancelled this morning. We apologise for the inconvenience and will update as we know more
