Bowel Cancer can feel like IBS or in my case it felt like gastroenteritis which kept happening.
Testing kits seem to be given out in a bit of a postcode lottery and in my areas not until you are 60.
I was 53 when I had emergency surgery for a complete bowel blockage during which a 4cm tumour was removed.
It’s hard to describe the feeling when the “C” word is mentioned and we probably all think it will never happen to us.
I am a strong believer in the mind body connection and that positivity is the key to beating this disease.
