Please be advised that the Practice will be closed on Monday 4th May and Monday 25th May in observance of the Bank Holidays.

We will reopen as normal on the 6th and 26th of May at 8:00am.

🌿 Join Our GP Practice – New Patients Welcome! 🌿

We are proud to offer a supportive, friendly, and highly skilled team dedicated to your health and wellbeing 💙👩‍⚕️

Our team includes:
• Focused Care Worker – Stacey
• Health & Wellbeing Coach – Shanaz
• GPs –Dr Abid Hamid, Dr Amna Khan & Dr Imran Salim
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Donna
• Care Coordinator – Ali
• Practice Nurse – Nkechi
• Dietician- Karen Irving

Donna offers telephone and video consultations on Mondays and Fridays. Her duties include blood test requests, medication reviews, discussing blood and scan results, referrals, general medical appointments, learning disability reviews, cervical smears, 6–8 week checks, and child immunisations.

Dr Hamid provides general medical appointments, mental health consultations, sick notes, taxi medicals, completion of medical forms, and joint injections.

Dr Khan offers general medical appointments, mental health consultations, postnatal checks, and sick notes.

Dr Salim provides general medical appointments, mental health consultations, and sick notes.

Ali (Care Coordinator) carries out blood tests, blood pressure checks, B12 injections, hypertension reviews, NHS annual health checks, and flu and pneumonia vaccinations.

Nkechi offers diabetic, asthma, and hypertension reviews, as well as cervical smears, chronic heart disease and chronic kidney disease reviews, ECGs, childhood immunisations, spirometry, vaccinations, and blood tests.

• Tuesday evenings: 6:30pm–8:00pm (GPs & Care Coordinators)
• Donna’s early clinics: Tuesday & Thursday, 7:30am–8:00am

❤️ The NHS has launched a new online self-assessment tool for women who experience a bleed or spotting they’ve been through the menopause and who are not on HRT. ❤️

📍It’s for women in Bury, Salford, Oldham, Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale. 📍

🩸Any bleeding from your va**na after the menopause (when your periods have been stopped for 12 months or more) should be checked out to rule out possible womb cancer. 🩸

👩🏽‍⚕️You can now do this without booking an appointment with a GP.👩🏽‍⚕️

Meningitis symptoms can develop suddenly ⚡ and become serious very quickly. Look out for:

🌡️ High temperature (fever)
🤢 Vomiting
🤕 Headache
🧍‍♂️ Stiff neck
💡 Sensitivity to light
😴 Drowsiness or confusion
⚡ Seizures
🔴 A rash that does not fade when pressed (not always present)

⚠️ Don’t wait for all symptoms to appear — especially a rash 🚫

If you think you or someone you care for may have meningitis or sepsis:
📞 Call 999 or go to A&E immediately 🚑
