🚨 Important – Please Make Sure You Stay Registered With Our Practice 🚨

NHS England is carrying out a national check of GP patient lists to make sure records are up to date and that patients still live in England and within their practice area. This is not designed to remove genuine patients from GP lists. Instead, it is used by NHS England to try and identify patients who may no longer be resident in England.
If you haven’t used the surgery or had a repeat prescription in the last 18 months, you may receive a text, email or letter from NHS England or us asking you to confirm your contact details and that you still live within our practice area.

⚠️ Please do not ignore these messages. ⚠️

If you do not respond, NHS England may remove you from our practice list. This is a national NHS England process – the practice does not control it.
If you are still living in our area you do not need to worry, all you need to do is respond promptly to the message and you will remain registered with us. If you are removed in error, you may need to re‑register before accessing routine GP services.

So, if you are contacted about this, please reply straight away to ensure you stay registered with our practice.

📢 We are pleased to let everyone know that there is now a start date for the inclusive swimming sessions!

📅 Every Friday, starting 11th September

⌚ 2:30-3:30 in the afternoon

📍 St Austell Leisure Centre

💷 £2 cash to begin with (but free for the first 4 weeks)

✅ A swim teacher and lifeguards will be at these sessions. There will be lanes and open space for swimming. Limited to 15 participant spaces. Carers/supporters may need to be in the water depending on ability.

ℹ️ Some extra information…👇

👋 On Friday 4th September, 2:30-3:30, there will be a dry introduction and information session at St. Austell Leisure Centre. This is a chance for people who are interested in swimming to come along and see the pool, as well as meet the swim teacher. There will be no swimming on this day, just a chance to ask questions and give ideas about what will make this swimming session as good as it can be. You could also sign up if you haven't already.

🐦 Some people have already signed the early bird swimming register and their place is guaranteed in the first week. We will be getting in touch with those individuals to confirm whether they are still interested.
