📢 REMINDER - Planned Network Refresh – Wednesday 2nd September
We would like to let our patients know that we have a planned network refresh taking place on Wednesday 2nd September, between 1pm and 3pm.
🔧 What is a network refresh?
A network refresh involves updating and replacing parts of our practice’s network infrastructure to improve the reliability, performance and stability of our internet and IT systems.
We have been experiencing a number of internet connection issues recently, which have affected our ability to access some of our clinical and online systems. This planned work is being carried out to help improve the reliability of our network and reduce the likelihood of these problems continuing.
⚠️ What does this mean for patients?
Between 1pm and 3pm on 2nd September, the practice will be without an internet connection while the work is completed. This means our clinical and online systems will be temporarily unavailable, and some services may be affected during this period.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while this essential work is carried out. We expect normal services to resume once the network refresh has been completed.
Thank you for your understanding. đź’™

Important Patient Update

We would like to make our patients aware that a widespread IT outage across Kent and Medway has affected access to our clinical systems and other essential services.

The issue is still currently being investigated. Although we now have temporary access to our systems, service remains slower than usual and we are working through a backlog caused by the disruption.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding while our team works as quickly and safely as possible to restore normal service. There may be longer waiting times when contacting the practice or processing requests.

28/07/2026

We’re currently experiencing internet issues, which means we’re unable to access our clinical systems or phone systems at the moment.

Our team is working hard to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through it.

We’re pleased to let our patients know about the My mhealth app, a digital health support tool designed to help people better manage long-term conditions from home 🏠.

The app is available for patients with the following conditions:

Asthma
Diabetes
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Heart

My mhealth provides tailored support such as self-management advice, health tracking tools, educational resources, and the ability to monitor symptoms and progress over time. It is designed to support, not replace, your usual care from the practice.

Patients who are coded with any of the above conditions on our system will soon receive a text message with details on how to access and set up the app.

⚠️ Important Notice ⚠️

We are currently experiencing major IT issues affecting GP practices across Kent and Medway.

This means it may take us longer than usual to answer telephone calls, and we do not currently have full access to our computer systems. As a result, some services may be slower than normal.

Thank you for your continued support.
