Amazing. Thank you sharing this news about our outstanding team
Two outstanding care workers from north Kent are celebrating national success.
Out of more than 6,000 care workers nominated across the UK, Bobbie-Lee Eveleigh and Rajwant Sandhu were both shortlisted in the top 10 finalists at the national Caremark Incredibles Awards.
They attended the prestigious awards ceremony at Fortnum & Mason, where Rajwant went on to win the overall national award.
Rajwant was recognised for her life-changing work supporting clients living with dementia, while Bobbie was nominated for her exceptionally bubbly, thoughtful, dedicated, and person-centred approach to care.
Following her award win, Rajwant was also invited to Windsor Castle, where she had the honour of meeting King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
She said: "I could not believe that I got put forward and it was such a surprise I even won it.
"I love my job so much and spending time with my clients. Having the variety of tasks and interaction with them every single day, every day is not the same."
Bobbie-Lee added: "Being given the opportunity to attend the event in London is something I won't forget.
"As a carer, Caremark continues to inspire me through the support, encouragement, and recognition they give to their staff.
"Events like this remind me how valued and appreciated carers are, and it motivates me to continue giving the best care possible to our clients."
