What is PRP?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy is one of the regenerative options we offer for patients who haven’t found relief through painkillers or rehab alone.
How it works? At Krida Harley Street - we take patients own blood and spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then reinject it precisely into the affected joint or tissue always under ultrasound guidance for accuracy.
It’s commonly used for tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, patellar and Achilles tendinopathy, plus early-to-moderate arthritis with published success rates of 70-80% for these conditions.
PRP isn’t a cure, but for the right patient, it can meaningfully reduce pain and restore function.
