Gazel provides a day service for adults with learning disabilities based at St. Lukes Place, Rochford.

Our aim is to promote and support independence, choice and social inclusion through a wide range of engaging learning and development activities within a supportive, safe and stimulating environment. Additionally, we believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to achieve success through education. Gazel is an accredited education provider and our programmes are individually tailored and

are taught in a creative and imaginative way. Through our distinctive approach we encourage and develop our Clients to be the very best they can be – giving them the confidence to be themselves and drawing out their incredible abilities.

Today, we have been celebrating the wonderful gift of friendship by sharing heartfelt advice from our amazing Thursday group about what it means to be a good friend. Friendship is one of the simplest, sweetest kinds of magic we get to experience every day at Gazel, and we are all so grateful. 😀👏🎉

Fantastic effort by our group for taking part in an Apprentice style challenge to design their own waterparks 💦🛝

They looked at different parks in the UK 🇬🇧 and around the world 🌍 chose their themes🪄🌪️ then created their park maps together ✍🏻

Lots of brilliant ideas today 🤩 well done everyone 👏

Our Monday group enjoyed finding out about National Marine Week using the Essex Wildlife Trust website 🦀

They read facts about ocean conservation 🌊 the different events taking place up and down the UK coastlines to raise awareness 🐟 and watched the seals at Blakeney Point in Norfolk 🦭

They also had time to create some brilliant water colour pictures 🤩🎨

Brilliant effort from our Wednesday group today who took part in some Brain training 🧠🏋️ as part of World Federation of Neurology - WFN World Brain Day 🌏🧠

The theme for 2026 is brain health for all ages and they enjoyed doing different activities 👀 puzzles 🤔🧩 and exercises👌 Well done everyone 🤩

This morning our group worked on their problem solving 🧐 by working in teams to complete different World Emoji Day quizzes 📆

They used emoji clues to complete quizzes covering the world of sport, TV, film and music ⚽️📺🍿🎸 Well done everyone 🤩

We finished both countries today in our digital World Cup sticker album 🏆 More swapping with players around the world 🌎

Today our Thursday group started a Commonwealth Games 2026 flags challenge 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇹🇹🇯🇲🇳🇿

Working in teams, they used iPads to help them match the correct flags to the different countries taking part in the upcoming games 🏋️🏃‍♀️

They also found out about the medals🥇and the 2026 Glasgow mascot, Finnie the Unicorn 🦄

We checked in today with our virtual World Cup sticker book 🏆 After opening new packs and completing some swaps with players around the world 🌎 we have managed to get 63% of the book done so far 🤩

With another couple of weeks to go of the tournament 🏟️ We hope we can complete it before the World Cup final ⚽️🤞
