Sometimes you won't know what is around the corner, or how long the journey will last.

Someone might have a map but it's vague; you'll need to build it as you go.

Therapy can feel the same, knowing where you came from, deciding if you want to go back and planning the new route.

However you move in the playroom πŸ‘― having an outlet is a great way to connect to how you're feeling and regulate.

Play therapy is such a special and personal process. Testimonials like this from the families I support mean so much:

"My child had been struggling with a variety issues due to their ADHD, being adopted and also becoming a teenager!

"Before we started any sessions I had a long chat on the phone with Shelley and she took the time to understand my child and our family dynamics. She wanted to ensure she understood my child's issues and that she could meet their needs. She was very understanding and supportive to me as a parent and put my mind at ease.

"My child found the sessions really beneficial, we noticed a change in their behaviour and I felt that Shelley was in tune with their needs and why they might be struggling.

"Shelley was very supportive when the sessions concluded ensuring that they had a postive ending and that my child knew they could come back to see her at any time."
