Romford Care Home is a charming purpose built and carefully designed home where we provide Dementia Nursing, Dementia Residential and End of Life care. We promote a high quality-of-care and active lifestyle in a pleasant social atmosphere. Located over two floors, our home includes light and airy, open plan lounge/diners as well as spacious en-suite bedrooms, and a variety of communal spaces such

as a bar, library, dementia-friendly garden room, hair salon, and activities room. Our landscaped gardens are wheelchair accessible and designed to be a welcoming place for people to relax. We are dedicated to providing a person centred, engaging and stimulating resident focused community; where family is at the heart of everything.

We carried on the theme of National Afternoon Tea Week with a wonderful Tea Tasting Experience this afternoon! ☕️✨
We tried a variety of different teas, and the clear favourite among our residents was definitely Strawberry & Raspberry! 🍓🍓
Of course, we couldn't let the afternoon go by without our lovely Bob singing some classic songs, which got our residents up and dancing! 🎶💃🕺

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the incredibly talented "A Right Charlie" to our home for a very special live performance this afternoon! He went above and beyond to interact and engage with everyone individually, making each of our residents feel incredibly special. The pure joy and happiness in the room was evident and everyone was absolutely overjoyed by his wonderful presence and singing.

Thank you Charlie for making today so memorable—we are already looking forward to the next time!

It's National Afternoon Tea Week, and we celebrated in the absolute best way possible! ☕🍰
We had the most amazing and lively Afternoon Tea, filled with laughter, great company, and wonderful memories. The fantastic Bob kept us thoroughly entertained throughout the afternoon, bringing so much joy to the room while we happily devoured a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches, savoury sausage rolls, and mouthwatering cakes! 🎉✨

🍦 National Choc Ice Day was an absolute hit here at the home, and our wonderful residents were over the moon when they saw their special afternoon treat arriving!

To make it extra memorable, Susie and Kerry loaded up a trolley with delicious choc ice treats and wheeled it through the corridors playing classic, old-fashioned ice cream van tunes to announce their arrival, bringing back so many fond memories and putting smiles on everyone's faces. 🍫✨

🎤 This afternoon, our talented residents took centre stage for an unforgettable karaoke party, led by our fantastic Resident Ambassador, Bob! 🌟

The room was filled with laughter and music as a few of our residents stepped up to the microphone to showcase their amazing voices. From classic hits to crowd favorites, it was wonderful to see everyone singing along and cheering each other on.

We love seeing our community come together like this—music truly brings out the best in us! A huge thank you to Bob for hosting, and to everyone who shared their incredible talents with us today. 🎶✨
