Silence is not empty, it is full of answers.
Next time you are driving don’t turn on the music/radio.
When walking keep your headphones off.
Notice the difference
Do you always listen to something?
Do you feel uncomfortable being in silence?
How hard is to be with your thoughts?

The “yogic squat,” known as Malasana (Garland Pose), is a deep, functional movement that opens the hips, strengthens the lower body, and improves digestion.

Key Physical Benefits
* Opens tight hips: Stretches the groin, adductors, and lower back.
* Boosts digestion: Compresses the abdomen to stimulate pelvic organs and eliminate waste.
* Strengthens the lower body: Builds endurance in the ankles, calves, and thighs.
* Improves posture: Lengthens the spine and counteracts the effects of sitting all day.
* Enhances mobility: Increases flexibility in the Achilles tendons and hip joints.

Mental and Energetic Benefits
* Grounding energy: Connects you to the earth to reduce stress and anxiety.
* Pelvic circulation: Increases blood flow to the pelvic bowl, supporting reproductive health.

How to Practice Safely
* Stance: Place feet wider than hip-width. Turn toes out slightly.
* Drop: Lower your hips toward the floor into a deep squat.
* Hands: Press palms together at your chest. Push elbows against inner knees.
* Spine: Lift your chest. Keep your spine long and tailbone heavy.
* Modification: Sit on a yoga block if your heels lift or knees ache.

Avoid Malasana if you have acute knee or ankle injuries, severe lower back pain, or are recovering from recent hip or pelvic surgeries. Those in their first and second trimesters of pregnancy should typically avoid the deep squat, as it can place excessive pressure on the abdomen.

Immersing yourself in water—whether it is a river, the sea, or a lake—profoundly deepens your yoga practice and accelerates healing. Spending time near natural water bodies triggers a psychological state known as “Blue Mind,” characterized by calm, peacefulness, and general happiness.
Here is how connecting with water elevates your mind, body, and spirit:

🌊 Physical Rejuvenation

Enhanced Circulation:
Cold water plunges stimulate blood flow and reduce muscle inflammation.

Respiratory Boost:
Fresh, humid air near water improves lung capacity and deepens your pranayama.

Negative Ions:
Moving water releases molecules that increase your body’s oxygen intake.

🧘‍♂️ Mental and Emotional Clarity

Sensory Deprivation:

The rhythmic sound of waves naturally quietens the ego and mental chatter.

Stress Reduction:
Looking at water lowers your heart rate and cortisol levels instantly.

Present Moment Awareness:
The unpredictable flow of water demands absolute mindfulness.

✨ Spiritual Alignment

The Element of Jal (Water):
Natural water balances your Svadhisthana (Sacral) Chakra, unlocking creativity and emotional flexibility.

A Lesson in Surrender:
Water teaches us the ultimate yogic principle of Ishvara Pranidhana—flowing with life instead of resisting it.

Energetic Cleansing:
Washing away physical sweat in a natural source symbolically purifies your energetic field.

With a such summery weather in UK did you get a chance to go for a dip/swim? Or just for a walk be the beach/river/ocean?

I am so lucky that the Park Yoga spot is so close to the river! 🌊 🧘‍♀️🧡

I know the secret 🤫
If you don’t feel like practicing lay down on your mat for a few minutes (not bed! 💤 ), start with savasana.
You will feel the magic ✨

This works even when you are too tired overwhelmed etc. Lay down on the hard floor for a couple of minutes. You will feel the difference.

Warning‼️ if you fall asleep within a couple of breaths don’t try it 🤣

A few tips how to bring one leg forward from downward facing dog.
1. Bend the knee of the leg you want to step forward with.
2. Push through the other foot, lift the heel, come up on tip toes.
3. Round your back
4. Bring the knee, that you bent as close to the chest as possible
5. Push the mat away with your hands, pushing the leg forward between your hands.
6. You can also lift the hand off the mat at the last second to create more space for your leg to land.

Let me know if these tips were useful 🧡🧘‍♀️
