Back-to-back clients today! 🥳💚

If you’re a little early for your appointment, feel free to relax outside until it’s your turn ☀️

With a full diary today, I’ll need to keep to appointment times a little more than usual… because we all know I like a chat! 😂

I still have a few spaces available next week for my birthday offer:
🎉 60-minute massage – just £30 🎉

💚 I’m honestly blown away by the support.

Since launching my 1-year anniversary offer, I’ve now had 16 new bookings 🎉

Reading comments like these means so much to me. Thank you to everyone who has booked, shared my post and recommended my clinic. 🥹

Thursday is now fully booked, and August appointments are filling up quickly.

🎉 ONE YEAR IN MY CLINIC! 🎉

I honestly can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I opened the doors to my clinic at Ross-on-Wye Rugby Club!

Starting my own business has been one of the biggest (and scariest!) things I’ve ever done. There have been highs, lows, moments where I’ve questioned myself, and moments where I’ve realised just how much I love helping people get back to doing what they enjoy.

To everyone who has trusted me with their recovery, recommended me to friends and family, shared my posts, or simply supported my little business… thank you. It genuinely means the world. 💚

To celebrate my first year, I’m offering:

💆 60-minute Sports Massage
💚 Just £30 (usually £55)

✨ Available to the first 25 people who book during August.

Whether you’re carrying a ni**le, training for an event, recovering from an injury, or just need to ease those tight muscles, I’d love to help.

Pre-season has officially started! 🏉

Off-season and pre-season aren’t the same—and they shouldn’t be treated the same.

The off-season is your opportunity to recover physically and mentally after a long season. That doesn’t mean doing nothing, but it does mean reducing the intensity, allowing injuries to heal, maintaining a base level of fitness, and working on any weaknesses.

Pre-season is where you start building again. For most grassroots rugby players, this lasts around 6-8 weeks before the first competitive fixture. The aim isn’t just to get fitter—it’s to prepare your body for the demands of rugby.

A good pre-season should focus on:
🏉 Improving movement quality and mobility
💪 Building strength and power
🏃 Developing your aerobic fitness and repeat sprint ability
⚡ Increasing speed, agility and change of direction
🤝 Returning to rugby-specific skills and contact progressively
😴 Prioritising recovery, sleep and nutrition to adapt to training

One of the biggest mistakes players make is trying to cram months of training into the first couple of weeks. Build gradually, stay consistent, and you’ll give yourself the best chance of staying fit and performing throughout the season.

💧 Don’t just replace the water you sweat out—replace the minerals too.

In hot weather, your body loses water and important electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium through sweat. Low electrolyte levels can contribute to dehydration, headaches, dizziness, fatigue, muscle cramps, and reduced performance.

Instead of relying on highly processed sports drinks, try these simple homemade electrolyte recipes to help keep you hydrated without the unnecessary additives.

☀️ Up with the larks?

My little clinic is open from 7:30am on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 9:00am on Thursdays – perfect if you like to get things done before the rest of the world wakes up.

I’m fully booked today (thank you 😊), but I do have availability next week.

And if you’re wondering whether treatment can make a difference, this is my most recent review from a runner I treated at the London Marathon Show. Reviews like this genuinely make my day. ☺️🤩
