Turners Funeral Service Turners Funeral Service have been serving the local communities of Conisbrough and Bramley and the surrounding areas since 1985.

The teams at our Conisbrough and Bramley funeral homes will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have a large selection of memorial masonry for you to choose from. We are also able to arrange additional works such as inscriptions and renovations on existing memorials, as

part of our service, we will assist you with the completion and submission of the appropriate documentation. If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, please come and see us, or we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.

Firmager Funeral Service with support from Sterry Funeral Service was proud to support the New Romney Country Fayre 2026, the largest free annual community event on Romney Marsh.

This year's theme was Musicals, with the team making a Grease-themed parade float. From singing and dancing crowds lining the High Street to welcoming visitors at their stall throughout the day, it was a fantastic celebration of community spirit.

Alongside sharing information about their services, they enjoyed offering free water, summer punch and snacks to visitors, while catching up with many familiar faces – including past clients who stopped by to share kind words and memories.

Michael Gamble Funeral Directors in Stonehouse are delighted to support Stonehouse In Bloom, a dedicated, local volunteer group whose hard work and commitment help make the town look so beautiful year after year.

As part of the sponsorship, we have funded the installation of a 4’ flower planter outside the branch, which has added a wonderful splash of colour to the front of the premises. The Stonehouse In Bloom volunteers regularly refresh the planting, tend to the plants and flowers and help to maintain the surrounding area, ensuring everything continues to look welcoming and well cared for.

We're incredibly proud of our East London Area Development Manager, Tony Harms, who recently stepped into the ring to compete in an Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) match – and came away with a fantastic victory! 🏆

Taking on a challenge like this requires dedication, discipline and courage, and Tony showed all of these qualities both throughout his training and on fight night.
What's even more inspiring is that this wasn't just about winning in the ring. The event raised vital funds for Hackney Playbus, helping to support children and families in the local community through play, learning and development opportunities.

🚶♂️ 50km in 2 days for a fantastic cause

A huge well done to our East London Area Development Manager, Tony Harms, who recently completed the 50km Hadrian's Wall Trek on 26–27 June in support of North London Hospice.

Taking on a challenge of this scale requires dedication, determination and plenty of preparation. Through his efforts, Tony not only completed this incredible trek but also raised £250 for a charity that provides vital care and support to individuals and families when they need it most.

We're proud to recognise his achievement and the positive contribution he has made to such an important cause.
