🕯️ Baby Loss Awareness Week Memorial Service

As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, families are invited to a special memorial service at Rotherham Hospital Chapel on Thursday 15 October.

This will be a space to pause, reflect and remember, alongside others who understand. 💗💙

📍 Rotherham Hospital Chapel, C Level, Junction 3
🕕 Refreshments from 6pm
🕡 Memorial service begins at 6.30pm
🕯️ Candles will be lit at 7pm
🚶 The event will end with a procession walk to the front of the hospital.

Calling all local knitters — we need YOU! 🧶🪡

Our incredible volunteers come into the hospital every week to sell books and handmade knitted items, raising vital funds for our charity. Last year alone they raised over £8,000!

Their stall is now running very low and we are in desperate need of knitted or crocheted cardigans. We’re calling on our fantastic community to get their knitting needles at the ready to help support a worthy local cause.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST 🩷 to help us reach as many knitters as possible.

We accept any of the following hand-made items:
🩷 Knitted or crocheted baby cardigans
🩷 Knitted or crocheted blankets
Please note these items are to sell to raise valuable funds to enhance patient care, they won't be used on hospital wards.

💛 A friendly note: we’re not currently able to accept knitted hats — we have hundreds in stock already — so cardigans, blankets and teddies are the items that will make the biggest difference right now.
