Happy 1st of May everyone! Already into the fifth month of the year and April has been such a busy one for me so it’s time for a short break to do some hiking and biking and soaking up the beauty of Wales (even though it will probably rain)…….hows the Bank Holiday weekend looking for you? Today I received a gift from one of my Clients, Nigel Downing, who used to live nearby and someone who I watched struggle with his mental health for many years. Nigel is an amazing man who came to me many years ago for help in building his confidence with public speaking as he wanted to read his poetry to a public audience. Not only did Nigel go on to achieve this but he has now wrote several books. The gift to me is a copy of his latest book using poetry he wrote on his journey through depression and suicidal thoughts and through to now being diagnosed with Bi Polar Disorder and Autism and getting the correct help he needed all along.
Nigel hopes this book will help anyone feeling like he did that there is help through these feelings to rise up and out the other side.
