Waverley Fun Day is being held next Saturday, 20th June, 12 – 3pm at Olive Lane.
Everyone is welcome and there is no charge for entry!

We have arranged lots to entertain all the family:-

🌞A lovely selection of stalls being run by local residents who are bringing products and services from their hobbies and small businesses Viv's Sweet Treats, Kulu Lulu, B Carried, Crochet by Amber, Freddie's 3D Fidget Toys, Chilli Crafts, www.sparkleandslime.co.uk and Pokémon trading with Waverley Trading Collectibles (group)

🌞Information stalls from local organisations including Sky-House, 1dayaweek and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council

🌞You are welcome to bring your bikes along for a free bike safety check and tune-up by Journey Matters . If you have any bike issues that the team can’t fix, they’ll offer advice on what to do.

🌞 Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield have arranged to bring an axe throwing activity! Everyone is welcome to have a go in exchange for a small donation to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice Definitely worth a go!

🌞 A Whole New World Event Entertainment will be bringing along a couple of their popular characters - including one related to a new film out this week 🤠 They'll be wandering around the event, happy to meet people and pose for photos. Thank you to Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes for sponsoring the characters again!

🌞There are plenty of activities to entertain all ages! DB Entertainment will be bringing along a climbing wall, TSD Gymnastics and Excel Martial Arts will have demo areas and there will be circus workshops from Fullam Ketch Fitness, plus Rotherham Libraries will have some rhyme time sessions in the Waverley Community Hub – all these activities are FREE to join in!

🌞Waverley Wanderers FC will have their football challenge and Gee’s Grazing will be selling Charcuterie Carts & Cups to raise funds for the club

🌞Rotherham Phoenix U13 will be coming along to raise some funds for their club and maybe even teach some rugby skills!

🌞 SimplyProsecco will have a lovely selection of drinks available. Farinas artisan pizza C Q Catering and Greg's Ice Cream Van will have a great choice of food and snacks on offer

🌞Our Olive Lane neighbours will be joining in the fun, including Karobar who will be serving Indian Street Food outside their restaurant, Serve Coffee will have an outside bar & BBQ and Hall Court Vets will have some activities in store. Tesco, Mono Malo, The Canary Micro Bar, Specsavers, Wingers will also be open as usual

🌞Excel Dance, Excel Martial Arts, Jack's Theatre School, TSD Gymnastics and Waverley Junior Academy are in final rehearsals for their performances. The entertainment timetable will be shared in the next couple of days.

🌞Divine Sounds will be hosting our performers and entertaining during the event.

🌞There will be First Aid on site near Tesco Express towards the performance area, should anyone need assistance from Vie Medic Services Ltd

🌞There will be some covered seating areas supplied by Your Event Cover to shelter from the sun hopefully
