Gathering little gifts from the garden. 🌸
Sweet peas, rosemary and calendula, all picked in the morning sunshine. One of my favourite parts of creating at Glenmore is beginning with whatever nature is offering that day. Sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that stay with us the longest. 🌿✨

✨ Nature’s Wisdom – An Evening with Oracle Cards ✨

There are moments in life when we feel drawn to pause.

Join me for a peaceful summer evening at Glenmore as we gather around the beautiful Woodland Wardens and Earth Oracle decks and explore the gentle wisdom that nature has to offer.

Many people believe that we don’t choose the cards… the cards choose us.

Whether you see that as intuition, synchronicity, guidance from nature, or simply an opportunity to reflect, it’s often remarkable how a card seems to arrive with exactly the message we need to hear.

This is not an evening of fortune telling or predicting the future. Instead, it’s an invitation to slow down, become curious and reconnect with yourself through the stories, symbolism and quiet wisdom found in the natural world.

Sometimes the best workshops are the ones nature leads… 🌿

I’ve been a little quieter on the Glenmore page this week, and for the loveliest reason.

These little adventurers have been keeping me busy with beach days, sandy toes, pebble collecting, paddling, and plenty of laughter.

No organised activities. No screens. Just fresh sea air, endless space to run, and a beach almost entirely to ourselves.

Days like this are a reminder of why Glenmore Arts & Wellbeing exists in the first place. It’s about slowing down, noticing the world around us, making memories, and finding joy in simple things.

We’ll be back soon with workshops, sea glass, flowers, creativity, tea and cake… but for now I’m soaking up these precious summer moments while they’re here.

I hope you’re finding a little time to enjoy this beautiful Scottish summer too. 💚

One of the lovely things about running workshops is that sometimes you get so caught up in the conversation that you forget to take any photos… and that’s exactly what happened today!

I welcomed a family who were holidaying on the beautiful Isle of Bute, and we spent a wonderfully relaxed afternoon creating sea glass pendants, chatting, laughing, enjoying tea and cake, and taking in the stunning views. It was such a pleasure to share a little piece of Glenmore with them.

What a day! ☀️💙

A full gazebo, plenty of laughter, cups of tea, and some beautiful sea glass jewellery created in the middle of one of the hottest days we’ve had!

Every pendant was completely different, each reflecting the person who made it. That’s one of my favourite parts of these workshops – I provide the sea glass, wire and guidance, but everyone leaves wearing something that’s entirely their own.

Thank you to each and every lovely lady who spent the morning at Glenmore. You made the heat worthwhile with your stories, encouragement and laughter.

Watching people arrive as strangers and leave smiling, wearing something they’ve made with their own hands, never gets old.

Now I’m putting my feet up with a cold drink before doing it all again!

An afternoon spent gently creating… 🌿🌼

Today’s Tataki-zomé workshop was everything I hoped it would be.

We wandered through the garden and along the lane, gathering leaves, wildflowers and herbs before settling beneath the parasol with glasses of iced lemon water, homemade cake and good conversation.

Then came the magic…

Each flower was carefully arranged, wrapped in fabric and gently tapped with a hammer until the natural pigments transferred into the cloth. Every piece became completely unique, capturing a little moment of summer.

There’s something wonderfully calming about working with nature. No rushing, no pressure, just time to create, chat and enjoy being outdoors.

Thank you to today’s lovely ladies for spending your afternoon with me.
Watching the joy of creating beautiful colours, shapes and never quite knowing how each one would land is mesmerising.
