🎶 A fabulously fun afternoon with Rosie's Retro Rhythms🎶
We had such a wonderful afternoon listening to the fabulous Rosie perform. She sang so many well-known favourites that our residents instantly recognised, with plenty of singing along, tambourines in hand and, of course, some dancing too! 💃🕺
Music has such a powerful feel-good effect. Familiar songs can spark memories, lift our mood and bring people together – and there were certainly plenty of smiles around the room today.
A huge thank you to Rosie for bringing so much fun, energy and music. We enjoyed every minute! 🎤🎶✨

Andy Mace - Care Home Entertainer performed today bringing another afternoon of brilliant music.🎙️
We always look foward to his performances as he sings such a large selection of different songs, remembering residents favourites.
Musical performers become part of the rhythm of life here —That sense of recognition when people connect to the songs, remembering them , and the sense of nostalgia they evoke

Today is Professional Care Workers’ Day .
We want to say thank you to all the incredible Care Workers across our teams here at Rusthall Lodge.
Every day, they bring kindness, compassion , humour,dedication and knowledge to their roles, working incredibly hard to support our residents and make a real difference to their lives.

We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of cheese and w**e tasting! 🧀🍷
With a selection of different cheeses to sample and w**es to accompany them, it was a lovely opportunity to try a few different flavours and, perhaps, discover a new favourite.
Most of all, it was simply a wonderful afternoon spent in good company — chatting, laughing and relaxing together. A very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. 🙂

It’s been a brilliant end to a summer filled with fun, laughter, music, dancing , outings, celebrations and plenty of interesting moments along the way.

Our residents always enjoy hearing the many familiar classic songs Jon performs. What makes his visits a little different is the fascinating chat that accompanies the music, sharing interesting stories and background about the songs and artists along the way.

A brilliant afternoon spent being creative with paint! 🎨
Our residents painted some beautiful, colourful paintings. Each one with its own individual style. Just as enjoyable was the lovely conversation around the table. It’s very rewarding watching residents become more confident with Art, with some wonderful artwork to show for it! 🖌️✨
