The Goodbye You Can't Get Back
You may have seen in the news this week that the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banned a television advert by national provider Pure Cremation after ruling it was misleading. The advert suggested that an attended funeral service or ceremonial element was included in a Direct Cremation, when this was not the case.
This highlights something incredibly important: when making funeral arrangements, transparency matters and you need to be certain of what you are actually purchasing, especially when it comes to funerals. What is included, what is not included?
Whether you are considering a Direct Cremation or another funeral option, speak to us, your local independent funeral director.
Choosing local means knowing exactly where your relative will be cared for, having the opportunity to speak with local people face-to-face and being able to explore all the options available to you, rather than speaking to a voice in a call centre. Most importantly, it removes confusion, gives you the time and space to make informed decisions and takes away the pressure of a telephone sales conversation.
Some decisions can't be undone. This is one of them. Talk to us first..
We are here to answer your questions and guide you so that you can make an informed choice. Please get in touch, we are available 24/7 to help:

The ASA said the ad misleadingly implied that the standard Pure Cremation package included an in-person funeral service, when this was not the case.
