A Day of Music, Memories & Flowers 🎶
This morning, we were delighted to welcome Greg from Music as Therapy. Greg brought lots of smiles to our residents as he sang for them in the bistro and visited residents in their bedrooms, creating some lovely, personal moments. 🎵💕

We also enjoyed a trip out to the Clifton Coffee Morning, where Ted had a wonderful time enjoying friendly chats, a cup of tea and, of course, some delicious teacakes! ☕🍰

This afternoon, we held a rather bittersweet Garden Club. We picked some beautiful flowers from the garden and enjoyed arranging and displaying them in the bistro, bringing a little touch of the garden indoors. 🌺🌿

Today also marked the anniversary of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, so we took some time to remember her. Residents watched a documentary, shared memories and reminisced about her remarkable reign. We also enjoyed colouring some lovely corgis — a fitting tribute to a much-loved Queen and her famous furry companions! 👑🐶❤️

A day filled with music, friendship, creativity and memories. ✨

What a bittersweet day today 🌸

We received the most amazing email announcing that we had won one of the categories in Rugby in Bloom! 😃🏆

Bob and Brian, worked so incredibly hard to make our garden beautiful. Their passion, care and hard work truly made a difference, and we are so proud of what they achieved.

Sadly, they are not here to receive their award, which makes today a little bittersweet.

So, Bob and Brian, this one is for you! 🌸

We cut some of the beautiful flowers you grew and have placed them in the bistro, so all our residents can enjoy them.

Your hard work has created something truly beautiful, and today we made sure your achievement was remembered. 💕

🎉 What a fun-filled day we’ve had! 🎉
This morning it was eyes down for Bingo followed by some energetic Balloon Tennis 🎈🎾 — plenty of laughs and friendly competition!
This afternoon, we were entertained by the amazing Hannah, and we had a fantastic time shaking our pom poms and joining in the fun! 📣💃
To finish off a wonderful day, we enjoyed our Dominoes Club this evening — the perfect way to round off the day! 🁫❤️

This morning we were in awe of Simon’s wildlife presentation, a salute to the end of summer and the changing of the seasons 🐦‍⬛🌻 then we played a lively game of balloon tennis where our favourite four-legged friend even tried to join in! 🎈🐾

In the afternoon, we watched the classic Dirty Dancing in the cinema and couldn’t help but sing along with the fantastic soundtrack 🎞️

Our wonderful Fitniss guru Adam came to keep us moving and active while the rest of us settled in the quiet lounge for a relaxing crochet lesson with Patricia 🧶

This morning we enjoyed morning exercises with RISE, followed by a lovely visit from the Royal British Legion to spend time with our residents and veterans

This afternoon we were entertained by Chris Hyde, who played a great set that had us dancing and singing along 🎵🎶

This morning Ashleigh’s book trolley went around the rooms to keep everyone’s minds active and celebrate our love of reading 📚

Then we played a spirited game of dart ball to see who would be the victor 🎯🏆

This afternoon we played games in the bistro, from dogimoes to jenga to bean bag toss! It was great fun 🎲

After that we settled down to watch the live action version of Snow White in the cinema and had a good sing along 🎥🎶
