Ever wonder what the link between hot weather and a build up of ear wax is? ☀️👂

Hot weather can cause wax to expand, shift and mist with sweat which can create a blockage.

Humidity and heavy sweating can play a part in existing wax to shift and move deeper into the ear canal.

Dehydration can also play a part as when the body is dehydrated it can alter the fluids in the body which can lead to thicker and stickier wax.

⭐️ Make sure you stay hydrated and avoid using any cotton buds (or anything else for that matter) to clear your ears. Use olive oil for ear drops and give us a call to assess and/ clear your ears. ⭐️

Ear wax protects your ears from dirt, dust and bacteria. However, too much can cause dizziness, itchiness, tinnitus and/or loss of hearing!

We can remove earwax with gentle, warm water irrigation.
