SureCare Rugby and North Warwickshire aims to provide care and support services which meet positive outcomes, focusing on our client’s individual needs. We emphasise on promoting independence and encouraging active participation, whilst ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered to all of our clients. Before SureCare Rugby and North Warwickshire can deliver services and in order to meet our client’s needs, we ensure that a full care needs assessment is completed by our experienced staff and a detailed plan of care is agreed. SureCare ensures that our clients’ needs are thoroughly re-assessed as often as required, to ensure that the care and support provided has the flexibility to respond to any change of needs. SureCare Rugby and North Warwickshire encourages feedback from our clients, their relatives, friends and representatives. We regularly review the support provided to our clients to ensure that we are successfully meeting their needs and fully achieving their aims and objectives. We aim to provide a tailor made package of care and support, that contributes to the overall health and well-being off its clients, whilst incorporating individual needs, wishes and preferences. SureCare Rugby and North Warwickshire strive to work in partnership with other services and health professionals, to support our clients in maximising their full potential by promoting independence and, wherever possible, participation within our local community.

For anyone wishing to pay their respects and say their final goodbye and to celebrate the life of Michelle, please see the funeral details in the post below.

Michelle’s funeral service will take place on Wednesday 21st October 2026 at 3:00pm, at Rainsbrook Crematorium, Avon Chapel.

🌸 Family flowers only, please.

For those who wish to do so, donations in Michelle’s memory can be made to the NICE Centre for Movement Disorder. Those attending are also welcome to wear a dash of colour to celebrate Michelle’s life.

It is with the heaviest of hearts and the deepest sadness that we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Michelle Sparkes, the owner of SureCare Rugby and, most importantly, the heart and head of our family.
There simply are not enough words to describe how much Michelle meant to all of us. She was so much more than a business owner. She was the person at the centre of everything — someone who cared deeply about her family, her team, our carers, and every single person we have the privilege of supporting.
Michelle poured her heart and soul into building SureCare Rugby. What she created was never simply a business; it was something she believed in deeply and was incredibly proud of. Her compassion, determination, warmth and love for what she did touched so many lives.
Her sudden loss has left an enormous hole in all of our lives. Our office team and carers are heartbroken. We will miss her presence, her voice, her guidance, her strength, her laughter and all the little things that made Michelle who she was. There will be moments when we will instinctively look for her, expect to hear from her, or think about what she would say — and those moments will be incredibly difficult.
Michelle will be missed more than words can ever express. Her absence will be felt every single day, not only by her family and those closest to her, but by the entire SureCare Rugby family and by the many people whose lives she touched.
Although we are grieving, we know that Michelle would want us to keep going and to continue doing what she cared about so deeply. We will continue to deliver the service she worked so tirelessly to build, supporting our clients, their families and one another with the same care and dedication that Michelle gave every day.
We will carry Michelle with us in everything we do. Her values, her compassion and the legacy she has created will continue to live on through SureCare Rugby and through all the people she has helped along the way.
For now, we ask that everyone gives Michelle’s family, friends and our SureCare family the time and space to grieve this heartbreaking loss.
Michelle, you will never know just how many lives you touched. You were loved, you were cherished, and you will be missed more than words can say. Your Legacy will Continue. That is our promise to you, Adam and Derek.
