As the Sun reaches its zenith and we arrive at the Summer Solstice, we stand at one of the most powerful turning points in the Wheel of the Year.

Astronomically, this is the longest day and shortest night, a moment when the Sun’s life giving energy is at its fullest expression. For our ancestors, this celestial event was a sacred threshold, a time to honour the forces of nature, fertility, abundance, and the divine feminine that animates all life.

As a ceremonial priestess, I invite you to gather with us upon the landscape, beneath the expansive sky and in the presence of the ancient elements, to celebrate this potent seasonal gateway. Together we will honour the Goddess in her radiant aspect, offering gratitude for the abundance already present and setting intentions for the season ahead.

At the heart of our gathering will be a sacred fire ceremony. Fire has long been revered as a force of transformation, illumination, and blessing. As the flames rise, we will release what no longer serves us and call in the vitality, courage, and creativity of the Solstice Sun.
