Rugby Care Centre Care Home operated by Serene Care Group.

Who strive to deliver an all-inclusive, resident focused care package, tailored to meet individual needs and support ability. Rugby Care Centre was set-up as a Care Home operator to provide its residents with a serene, safe, warm and comfortable yet more personalised, stylish. Our goal is to meet our residents desire to live in smaller properties; with more independence, varied dining options suited to their dietary requirements, and stylish interior design with all the facilities and features to provide a comfortable and safe environment as frailties of age become a reality. We genuinely want all our residents to view their new accommodation as a “Home away from Home” and to eventually realise our ultimate ambition to be recognised as the care home company that delivers the best personalised care in the UK.

⚽😂 Football: “Forget the Board Games… Get the Ball!”

Yesterday morning, we had a completely different plan… board games! 🎲

But our residents had other ideas. They decided they fancied something a little more energetic, so the board games were put aside and the football came out! ⚽😂

One gentleman was clearly ready for action—he was up and ready before the ball had even touched the floor! 👏⚽ And he particularly enjoyed kicking the ball over to our residents… although we're not sure whether he was playing football or testing everyone's reaction speed! 😂

There was plenty of movement, laughter and encouragement all around. Who needs a gym when you've got Rugby Care Centre's morning football session? 💪😄

The lesson of the morning? Never assume you know what our residents will choose next! They certainly keep us on our toes. ❤️

🎨🌈 A Little Colour, A Lot of Competition! 😂

Friday morning, one of our lovely housekeeping team brought in some heart felt colouring activities for the residents—and they were a big hit! 🖍️❤️ One of our residents especially enjoyed getting stuck in, proving that sometimes all you need is a few colours and a little creativity to brighten up the day. 😊

Then came the afternoon… and things got SERIOUS! 👀😂

It was Bingo and quiz time, and you could practically feel the tension in the room. Everyone had their eyes on the prize… and today’s prize was CHOCOLATE! 🍫🤣

Numbers were being called, cards were being checked and there were plenty of hopeful “Is that mine?” moments! Our lucky winners proudly collected their chocolate prizes—well deserved! 🏆🍫

We also had plenty of shout-outs during “Guess What the Item Is?” Some answers came flying out so quickly, we're pretty sure nobody had time to think! 😂

Bingo at Rugby Care Centre is definitely more than a game—it’s an afternoon of laughter, concentration, friendly competition and, most importantly, a good excuse for chocolate! 😋❤️

⚽ The Ball Had Its Own Plans Today! 😂

We decided to have a little game of throw the football… although we're beginning to think nobody actually told the ball where it was supposed to go! 🤣⚽

It went left, right, up, down and probably visited a few places it wasn't invited to! 😂

There were plenty of laughs, plenty of throws and a few moments where everyone had to keep their eyes firmly on the ball. 👀

It might not have been the most organised football match in history, but it was certainly one of the most entertaining! ❤️

We think the ball won this round… should we have a rematch? 😂⚽

☕ A Little Coffee, A Lot of Catching Up!

Sometimes you don't need a big adventure to have a lovely morning—you just need a good coffee and even better company! ☕😊

This morning was all about some lovely one-to-one time, heading out for a Nero coffee and simply enjoying being out and about. ❤️

There was plenty of chatting, catching up and enjoying the little moments that make a morning feel special.

And, of course, coffee always tastes better 😂☕

🟡🔴 Connect Four… But Nobody Said It Would Be This Serious! 😂

Yesterday afternoon at Rugby Care Centre, it was all about Connect Four! 🎯

Game after game was played, and the competition got more intense with every counter that dropped. There were plenty of cheers when someone managed to get four in a row… and, of course, a few very loud “THAT’S NOT FAIR!” moments when the opponent won! 😂🤣

We had concentration, strategy, sneaky moves and some very proud winners. 🏆🟡🔴 But honestly, the laughter around the table was the real victory. ❤️

Connect Four has definitely become one of our residents' favourites—and judging by the competitiveness, we may need to start keeping a Rugby Care Centre leaderboard! 👀😂

💅🎨 Five Colours, One Very Happy Gentleman! 😂

Today was all about slowing things down and enjoying a little pampering at Rugby Care Centre. 💆‍♀️💖

We had hand massages, plenty of lovely nail colours and more nails being polished than we could keep count of! 💅✨

But then one gentleman decided that one colour simply wasn't enough… so why not have FIVE different colours?! 😂🎨 And honestly, he absolutely rocked it! The biggest smile appeared when he saw his finished nails, and it was a lovely reminder that a little bit of pampering is definitely for everyone. 💙

Days like today can be quieter and slower, but sometimes those are the moments that mean the most. ❤️ One-to-one time gives us the chance to sit, chat, laugh and simply enjoy someone's company without rushing.

Of course, our residents also love a bit of fast-paced fun—we know they can be just as competitive when the games begin! 😂🎲

Whether it's a peaceful hand massage or a lively game with plenty of cheering, it's all about giving our residents the choice to enjoy their day their way. 🥰

And now the important question… would you be brave enough to have five different colours on your nails? 💅😂

🌤️ Fresh Air, Fresh Faces & Scrabble Strikes Again! 😂🔤

This morning finally gave us a little break from the heat, so we grabbed the opportunity and headed outside for some lovely fresh air and sunshine. 🌿☀️ Our ladies thoroughly enjoyed the stroll, the fresh breeze and simply being out and about. Sometimes, it's the simplest things that make the biggest difference! 💕😊

And then... YES, SCRABBLE IS BACK! 😂🔤

Two very competitive games were played, and let's just say nobody was there just for fun. There were some seriously impressive high-scoring words, but of course, we couldn't resist those precious high-point squares! 🎯🤣

There was plenty of thinking, calculating and the occasional "Are you sure that's a word?" moment! 👀😂

Some days at Rugby Care Centre are slow and steady, while others are packed with outings, games and mind-boggling challenges. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way! ❤️

💪 A Little Movement, A Lot of Fun!

Mornings at Rugby Care Centre often start with a bit of movement and plenty of encouragement. Our residents join in with gentle seated exercises for their arms and legs, helping everyone get moving at their own pace. 😊

And once the exercise is done, the fun doesn’t stop! Bingo, word games and card games are firm favourites, with plenty of friendly competition along the way. 🎲🃏

We also enjoy our soft-ball activities, giving residents the chance to practise gentle movement and coordination while spending time together. ⚽

It’s all about keeping active, having a bit of fun and enjoying each other’s company — one morning at a time. ❤️

🎲 Snakes, Ladders & a Lot of “Oh No!” Moments!

Afternoon was all about Snakes and Ladders at Rugby Care Centre! 🎲

There were plenty of sixes being thrown, but somehow those pesky 1s seemed to make a very strong appearance too! And just when we thought we were getting somewhere, down the dreaded snakes we went... sometimes more than once! 😂

There was plenty of laughter, a little bit of friendly frustration and lots of encouragement around the table. We do love a good board game, especially when nobody takes losing too seriously!

And don't worry if you missed out— more board games are coming on Thursday afternoon. 🃏
