✨ Yesterday's Connection Club was pure magic, and I'm still glowing from it.

Good morning beautiful souls 💜

We used that gorgeous September sunshine to ground into Mother Earth and bring balance back into our bodies, to prepare for this week's harvest full moon and the autumn equinox, and all the abundance they bring. We journeyed together to meet the nature spirits and receive their gift, more of whatever we most want to call in, success, love, happiness, peace, confidence, all of it.

I welcomed back so many beautiful regulars and got to greet some brand new souls too, and honestly the atmosphere they created together was amazing. It let me hold the space fully and invite in the energy of trust and receiving for everyone in that room.

I am so grateful for this circle, for every soul who shows up and trusts the space, and for the honour of helping people be more and have more. This is exactly why I do what I do.

✨ My diary was meant to be quiet this week. Then everything showed up at once.

Honestly my calendar was completely empty, then opportunity after opportunity landed, and I had to get honest with myself about my yeses and my noes. Sometimes the no we reach for is actually fear, and the yes that scares us a little is where the growth is waiting. My diary ended up fuller than planned, and it's pushed a few other things back, but I know that when I show up for myself, life shows up for me too.
Feels extra fitting landing on the first quarter moon in Sagittarius, my own sign, expansion, action and truth-telling energy if ever there was some.

✨ I built my own website, and I still went looking for someone else's eyes on it.

Good morning beautiful souls 💜

Last week, in amongst all the other adventures, I did a website training session through the council's Sally Thompson, run by the wonderful Gail Hurd. I wanted real guidance on structuring it more clearly for the different people I serve, business leaders, entrepreneurs and individuals doing their own deeper work. The session was awesome and I got more from it than expected plus Gail offered me a thirty minute follow up too, which I'm so grateful for and definitely booking.

This lends itself to the ethos that even the coach needs coaching. Allowing someone with a different skill set to support you always brings a fresh pair of eyes.

Big thanks also to Sally for organising such a valuable session.

We gather again this Sunday, and I'm looking forward to welcoming my OGs and any newcomers equally, for a beautiful afternoon of connection. As the light and energy begin to shift and the Harvest Moon illuminates abundance, this month we're diving into a theme all about how we create more in our lives, more peace, more self love, more joy. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and water for your comfort, and a journal should you wish to take notes.💜

✨ Thank God, I am normal (ish). People who speak for a living still get nervous before they do it.

Last Friday I was at the very first event organised by listening to Dave James speak about 'speaking without freaking'. It was awesome, his insights were so genuinely useful, real, honest, practical, not just "have more confidence."

It's something I'd love to do more of myself, and I'll be honest, it still terrifies me. Sitting in that room reminded me that fear doesn't mean you're not ready, sometimes it just means you're standing exactly where the growth is.
I left with plenty to put into practice, and probably a video or two brewing about it.

✨ Sometimes the best conversations happen over a game, not in a boardroom.

What a great day yesterday at FEAST Online, reconnecting with old colleagues and meeting some brilliant new people, including the team from The Burnt Chef Project®, who are doing incredible work advocating for wellness in hospitality. Our thinking aligned so closely I could have talked to them all day. Most of you will have seen their mascot the giant inflatable elephant, this one called Ellie (of course). A clear nod to naming the elephant in the room rather than ignoring it. This is something I talk about constantly in my own work too. Watching the netball and football was great fun, and everyone noticeably more relaxed than at a typical networking event, the pitch being the one exception of course, was a brilliant reminder that real connection and real progress don't always need a stage or a slide deck. Thanks to all the organisers, great event.

✨ Let's be honest about how hard building your own thing actually is.

A year building, six months formally running, Bluebelle, and I've drawn on every ounce of resilience from twenty-five years of corporate leadership and found I needed more.
Entirely new muscles. There's no team to share the hard days with when you're a founder. You're the strategy, the delivery, and the person who has to find their own calm before every session.
It's humbling, and it's exactly the work I now help other people do too, leading themselves before they lead anyone else. If you're building something of your own right now, or a struggling leader, I see you 💜

✨ Nobody wants to admit the real cost of "being busy." It's not just hours. It's money, and it's time you're never getting back.
