🎗️I’m now a Cancer Champion!🎗️

Today I completed my Cancer Champion training, delivered by Lingen Davies and Oswestry Community Action ( thankyou 💖).

I learnt some really interesting stuff and now have a whole host of resources and information to help signpost people to some fantastic cancer services and support.
So, if you have a question, aren’t sure where to turn, or simply want to share your story, I’m here to listen. ✨

Cancer can be sooooo scary, but no one has to face it alone. There are some amazing services and resources available, and sometimes just knowing where to find them can make a real difference.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the screening, diagnosis and treatment available through the NHS and for the incredible people who make that possible( learnt a lot today about how effective early detection is for positive outcomes .) 🎗️

If I can help someone find the right support, I’ll be very happy to do so....and if you ask really nicely I might just show you my shiny new badge too 😁💖✨

💗 HAVE YOU LOST YOUR N*PPLE FOLLOWING CANCER SURGERY?
You may be able to access your restorative ar**la tattooing FREE of charge.

I’m looking to connect with people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales. who have experienced ni**le loss following cancer treatment or preventative surgery and would like to explore restorative ar**la tattooing.

Through the Lingen Davies Cancer Support Wellbeing Programme, funding is available for restorative tattooing, helping eligible people access hyper-realistic ar**la tattooing without having to pay for the treatment themselves. 💗

Restorative ar**la tattooing uses specialist medical tattooing techniques to recreate the appearance of a natural ni**le and ar**la.
This can create the illusion of a natural, three-dimensional ni**le and ar**la, even where there is no actual ni**le.

For many people, it can be the final part of their reconstruction journey — helping them feel more comfortable, confident and at home in their body again.
Restorative tattooing can be suitable for people of any gender who have experienced ni**le loss as a result of cancer or cancer-related surgery.

This can include people who have:

• Had a mastectomy or breast reconstruction
• Lost their ni**les during cancer treatment or reconstruction
• Had preventative surgery because of a BRCA gene mutation

WHEN CAN YOU HAVE IT DONE?

Your skin needs to be fully healed and settled following surgery before tattooing can take place.
For many people this is at least 6-12 months after surgery, although everyone's healing journey is different.
Depending on your circumstances, you may also need clearance from your medical team before treatment.

The most important thing is that you don't have to navigate this alone.

Start to finish a set of very natural looking eyebrow tattoos done over two sessions at least 10 weeks apart for a wonderful lady whose eyebrows are very sparse after cancer treatment. 💖

What are natural eyebrow tattoos ?

Tattooing that mimics natural eyebrows , to give the illusion of natural , soft eyebrows without the need to apply makeup everyday .

They are long lasting , completely custom and bespoke to each person. Colour matched /shaped and designed to be extremely long last ( you will not typically need constant touchups as long as the aftercare is followed correctly)

I have tested out different methods over the year and use the highway quality pigment to be as safe to skin as possible, cause the least amount of trauma andmake sure they heal and age well.

They are not 'high fashion brows ' , they are soft and natural looking when healed and are permanent so extensive consultation is a must.

They are suitable for anyone ( any gender ) if you have been affected by hair loss or want to create a long lasting natural eyebrow illusion through a tattoo process.

Note ** If you have been affected by cancer or have any existing medical conditions or take medication you will need additional consultation and be signed off by your medical team , unfortunately sometimes this may mean waiting or not being able to have a tattoo procedure.

The finished result and the process ✨**POST MASTECTOMY TATTOO SHARED WITH CONSENT FOR EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PURPOSES **

This lovely lady had lost one of her ar**la due to surgery for breast cancer so I created a unilateral tattoo matching up to her existing one.

Here you can see the drawing on process , the first session, the healed results after one session and the finishing details after the second session.

I will aim to get a fully healed photo of this in due course as the fresh tattoos always look very red and dark compared to the healed result. ✨

This was funded by the wellbeing program Lingen Davies charity with support from the Pink Ribbon Foundation

So excited to get two amazing hand finished t-shirts from Ni**le Innovation Project in the post.....so excited in fact that I had to pop one on and do an impromptu selfie photo shoot in the hall mirror at work ,😁!!

Cannot wait to wear them both to Locked Up Tattoo Convention💉 in September where I will be volunteering with NiP for the weekend.

Will be wearing these to select appointments and probably a few xoail outings to get the conversation going around all of the wonderful stuff that NiP do. Don't be shy ask me about my N*pples 💖✨

Freckles for Emma ✨💖✨

Soooo I have been wanting to do some freckles and one my incredibly cool besties let me do a little sprinkle on her beautiful face 😍
This is a first session and ultimately we will probably add a few more in different shades and sizes around once we see the healed results (as a freckle monster myself I can attest freckles are everywhere not just spread across the nose 😂) , but there are a statement on a mostly unfreckled face and need to be gotten used to.
Yes they look dark and very uniform right now , but the technique and dilution of pigments will lead to a more natural look(these bad boys will heal around 40% lighter dontcha know.
I colour matched on the lighter side to some little ones she has on the side of her face.
Em also wanted the cutest sparkle and no doubt she'll be adding in some other little cute bits too!!✨✨
I'll keep you all updated with the journey (healing and follow up sessions ) but I will be offering them out as service if anyone is interested.💖

Remember though they heal very natural, they are permanent and this needs to be thought about seriously ✨✨
Also you may recognise Em as a wearer of my artistic tattoos and a pair of natural eyebrows, last tattooed by me a good many years ago now.
She really is a walking portfolio for me and one of the most beautiful/kind people I know . Also a fantastic body piercer too (she has pierced me many times and my son, couldn't recommend her highly enough 💖 thanks em 💖 Emma

Hello lovely people. 🔊💖 LONG POST PLEASE READ

I've had a bit of a social media break. This was after having most of my content deleted by meta. Truthfully this put me in a bit of a mental burnout spiralling about the hours it took me to create each post ( im painfully slow and particular and treat each post like an individual project that I emotionally invest in ) 😓

Sadly this is very common and most of my n*ppple making peers have experienced the same if not worse.

So apologies for being a bit quiet, I'm back now and will be redressing how I post to ensure I don't get completely banned ( this is a real threat and there is no way to appeal it 😭)

Now for something a little different 💖
I recently got approached by a lovely lady regarding bellybutton/naval recreation. Although I hadn't actually done one before I used my ar**le tattooing skills to create this cute little button for her. ✨
I love how tattoos can be used to create the visual illusion of different body parts...and am looking forward to doing more of these in future ( I've also been requested for toe and finger nails so watch this space for that in future).💖
