🤍 Lipoedema Is a Chronic Medical Condition
Lipoedema is not simply a result of lifestyle choices, lack of exercise, or being overweight. It is a recognised chronic condition that causes an abnormal build-up of fat tissue, most commonly in the legs and arms.

Many people with lipoedema experience:

✨Painful or tender fat tissue
✨ Easy bruising
✨ Heavy, swollen legs
✨ Difficulty losing fat in affected areas
✨ Emotional distress from years of
misunderstanding and misdiagnosis

The more we recognise lipoedema as a medical condition, the more we can replace judgement with understanding, support, and appropriate care.
