This week we welcomed Ellie for a fantastic exercise session, and it wouldn’t have been complete without the pom-poms!

Our residents and family members had such a fun morning. The first floor was buzzing with laughter, smiles, and plenty of energy as everyone got involved and enjoyed themselves.

Thank you, Ellie, for bringing so much fun and enthusiasm to our day! ❤️

Two weeks to go!!
So very excited, we have got plenty of “home grown stalls” of our own as well as having stall holders come in, the alpacas, BBQ, tombola, kids games, raffle and a pick your own picnic for those who don’t want a BBQ ☺️ everything the home itself is doing is cash only, so please raid your piggy banks, stalls do take card or cash, all funds raised go towards the residents funds and creating events like this! 🤩🦙🍔🪎

Good afternoon all,

It has been lovely to meet with some of you over the past 2 weeks, I will hopefully manage to start learning names, etc.

As discussed with some of those that attended the family meeting on the 11th June 2026, there was an incident at another MHA home when a family member kindly brought in cakes to share with the residents at that home. Unfortunately, some of our residents are either nil by mouth or have swallowing difficulties and this could have been a serious outcome if staff had not intervened.

Please do feel free to continue to bring in food/drinks for your family member/friend in line with their individual preferences and ability, if you have any questions, please speak to the care staff or nurses.

If you would like to bring in a cake, etc for sharing with the other residents please ensure that this is discussed with the team first so they can ensure that this is safe to do so.

I look forward to working with you all at Rushden Park Care Home.

Many thanks
Louise

This morning we welcomed the fabulous Neil Richardson, who had us all singing and dancing along to the likes of Elvis, The Monkees, Frankie Valli, and of course, even more Elvis! 🎶💃🕺

It was wonderful to see both residents and staff enjoying themselves. Thank you, Neil, for a fantastic morning of music 🎶
