Didn't know whether to say anything or not but the purpose of the group is to try help each other and listen

Been just over a year since I tried to call it quits as they say 🙌🙈

This group although ive not been as much as id like is a massive help to guys like myself just knowing its there if and when I need it I'm nowhere near where I want to be but I can say I'm in a far better place than I was last year

Yous are genuinely saving people by creating this group Yous deserve an amazing amount of credit and I hope Yous know how much yees are appreciated boys

MENding Minds had 17 bodies come along again tonight to share a laugh and some healthier food options than we usually do. Lizzy from The High Backs made us soup and Donald made baked potatoes. Simple food is the best munch sometimes. Hats off to them it went down a treat.
This seems to be our average attendance now but we’re always looking to swell our ranks with more guys that would like to find something to do with themselves outwith that pub environment. It’s too easy to find yourself propping up the bar because there’s nothing else to do and you just want some company.
We meet every Tuesday 23 Penman Avenue Rutherglen. G73 1HP

Good morning guys. Lee from BMM with a little Sunday morning message for you all to let you know nobody expects you to have it all together all the time. Small things make big differences to your mental health and well being.
Life getting a bit heavy on your shoulders at times?. Wee early night and an early rise to take this wee guy of mine on a big long wet walk. Feel miles better than I did yesterday just for that.
Small differences in your life make for big changes over time. Home now to shower this smelly mutt and depress myself again watching my team 🙈.
Enjoy your Sunday everybody and remember it’s ok not to be ok. Just keep plugging away because we all feel like s**t from time to time.

17 men showed up for tonight’s meet. Among them another young man who found us through the power of social media. Everyone who shares these posts week in week out is helping to get men that need the group through our door and into our wonderful environment where they can meet new people and enjoy a good night.
Lots of the lads left prematurely to watch their team also leave prematurely (yep it’s a homeless guy laughing at your curtains. Don’t care). But we appreciate the effort in making the group what it is. Great lads and great banter among them.
We meet every Tuesday 7pm in The High Backs. Come along and see that

Tonight we had 14 of our guys come along to the group. We shared some good food,more than a few good laughs-my jaws are killing me!. Played the usually Killer pool and played some great sets of darts. Ryan throwing yet another 180 very well done to him…. I Faired not so well 🙈🤣.
In our group chat everyone is buzzing for a Tuesday evening to come around. It’s a bunch of top guys all just happy to spend time together playing games and slaughtering one another. Just typical guy stuff.
This group is thriving all because of the people that read and share these posts so I want to say thank you for the continued support of our group.
If you are new to us or even a member that hasn’t been in a while. Get yourself down and join in the fun times we’re having. All the hard slog and roughing it out making do with what we had has been worth it. This group is here supporting men of all ages and will continue to do so as long as it is needed.
The new hoodies have a wee sound bite from just a few of the comments posted on our group chat. The group really means lots to our members. We want that to keep growing!.

Mending minds WILL NOT be having our usual meet tonight. We have lots of gear from our camping trip to sort through and put away before the men’s room is able to have a meet safely.
If you were thinking of coming along for your first time please postpone until Tuesday 18th. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to welcome you along when everything is back where it should be.

We’re usually here to lend an ear but this weekend the lads from Burnhills MENding minds are off wild camping.

Everyone at Burnhill Mending Minds would just like to show our love and support for one of our own.

@ Lee and his brother Stuart and all the family on this sad day as they lay their beautiful mum to rest 🩵.

Lee has been a pivotal member in the building of this group. He has been there from the very beginning, building it to what it is today. Thank you, Lee.
