The trolley shop is a chance for people living here at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home - Excelcare to purchase any sweet treats, drinks, crisps or toiletries they may need! This is a big part of their routine and helps to encourage independence.

✨️ Wow, what an amazing day we have had at our summer fete!

The weather was perfect, the drinks were flowing, Pete George was entertaining us all and there were some amazing prizes won on the tombola!

We'd like to say a big thank you to our amazing volunteers:
• Myra and Storm on the bar
• Nicola on the tombola
• Chantelle doing the face painting and crafts for the children
• Mrs B keeping our residents company
We couldn't have done it without you ❤️

The children had a great time on the bouncy castle that was kindly lent to us by Warren at All Inflated Bouncy Castle Hire! 😃

It means so much to us to be able to put these events on and it was so well attended. All the money raised goes to our residents comfort fund which helps to enrich their lives.

We started Friday strong 💪

Residents on both Turner and Reynolds suites enjoyed singing along to some well known songs whilst using their coordination skills to perform the exercises using balloons, soft ball and scarves.

We were joined by John's daughter, Joanna!

Music is always a great addition to any activity and is good for the soul and the mind! 🎶
